"I'll see you in class. Take your hood off." Lyle pulled the hood from my head as he walked by me.

I pulled it back on as soon as he had walked around the corner. He stuck his head back around it and I laughed as he frowned at me before he left.

We had just gotten to school, it was quite early, he wouldn't let me walk insisting that it was 'dangerous'. Oh well, at least he didn't force me to eat breakfast.

Damien had walked me home after buying an umbrella - even though I had told him it wasn't necessary - because the rain hadn't stopped by 7 PM when Lyle called to check if I was alright.

I made my way to my locker, avoiding the few people that were at school but I stopped when a hand grabbed my shoulder.

"Hey, you alright?" Elliott? I looked up surprised as he stepped in front of me. I looked up when he pushed my hood so it fell off my head before nodding at him slowly and he smiled. "You're looking at me like I'm going to eat your brain." I cracked a smile as he chuckled. "Don't worry, Hannah, brains aren't on my menu, probably because no meat is."

"You're vegetarian?" I looked at him surprised, "I-I mean -" I was saying.

"Vegan actually. May I walk with you?" He asked.

"Why?" I asked slowly, cautiously. What did he want? He rolled his eyes chuckling.

"I'm alone, you're alone. We can discuss your relationship with my friend as we walk. Let's go." He said tilting his head in the direction we were both heading.

"But -" I began. Wait.

"Come on." He nudged my shoulder sightly as e began to walk again and I followed.

"Relationship?" I looked at him.

"You went out with him yesterday, didn't you?" He asked.

"Yeah, b-but it wasn't - It's not - we weren't -" I was saying.

"Hannah," he chuckled grabbing my shoulder again gently, "Calm down. I was joking."

I looked down. "Oh," I said.

He chuckled. "I won't bite you if you laugh."

"Lick?" I looked up cautiously stepping away from him as I remembered what Damien said.

"Oh, God no. Did Day say that? He's so damn gross sometimes. Listen to him, Hannah, he actually does that shit." Elliott shuddered as if remembering something. I laughed. "There we go." He smiled, "So Mr Creed's your brother?" He asked.
