Taylah's pov.

The only person I had ever sung in front of was Newt. Even if the others didn't think it was a good idea, it wouldn't matter because at least someone broke the silence.

I decided on the perfect song for this moment. Everyone was sad because they had just lost a close friend. The song is called see you again.

I sat up straight and sang.

I had all the boys eyes on me as I sung. I felt this song was just so meaningful to this situation. They boys looked at me in awe. Most of them started smiling and some got watery eyes about how beautiful the lyrics were. I continued sing.

As I was about to sing the next verse I heard Newts voice started to sing the words. We looked at each other smiling. Then Minho and Chuck joined in. After a few more words nearly all the gladers were singing the song that we dedicated to Ben.

We all finished the song together, that moment was just perfect it showed how big of a bond we all have. Minho stood up out of his seat and raised his drink. "Taylah thank you for that beautiful meaningfull song. Ben will be missed but he was like a brother to a lot of people, he would want us to stay strong we will see him again one day," he says proudly.

Those were very good words. Frypan yelled "So Newt you were right she has an amazing singing voice!!" I turn to face a blushing Newt. I smirk at him. Chuck runs up to me and starts to speak "Hey Tay he is right you are really really shucking good." he said astonished.

I blush, the others nodded in agreement. I buried my face into Newts chest trying to hide my embarrassment. I hear him chuckle . "There is no need to be embarrassed love," he says while grinning. I face the boys and say ,"you are never hearing it again so shh," I say and some groan.

Gally just mumbles something. Newt wanted me to sing so I turned it around in him. "Hey have you heard Newt sing, he is so so amazing, it's incredible," I say smirking. It was true he was amazing.

He looked at me and his eyes grew wide. He kept repeating that I'm just talking klunk. So all the boys turned on him and started nagging him to sing. I smirk and start to walk off.

Newt catches my arm and pulls me down so I was sitting on his lap. "Fine you shuck faces why don't taylah and I do a duet." They all nod eagerly. I shook my hand. Newt looked at me giving me the cutest puppy dog eyes.

I groan and give up and moan a 'fine'. He thinks of a song and his pops up when he thinks of one. He whispers the song in my ear and I remember it. Time to sing another song.
