His embrace picked me back up again.
"Now, we can go back home! And we can start all over live a normal life again!" I hugged him again laughing. "You don't know how happy I am to see you! You aren't dead? Why aren't you dead!"
He made a desperate face.
"Urm, the thing is, there is no "back home"." He said sternly. "You know how our house burned down right?"
I nodded.
"Well, as stupid as I am, I don't put my money on Visa Cards, or Credit Cards," He said kind of asking for the rest of the story from me.
It came to me.
Fire plus paper equals flame, right? Money plus fire equals...
Shit.
"We're broke!?" I shouted.
"Hush Hush!" He said whispering. "Don't let the world know, Olivia."
Jesus, it's been a long time since someone's called me that.
"I have somewhere we can stay though," He said as I sighed in relief. "But I need you to work as much as I do."
Crash and burn.
But with all I've done for myself in the last two months...
"Okay." I reply. "What kind of work?"
He led me to a bar.
