Ch. 40: "the one where the other ex girlfriend returns"

Riley pov

My mom checked Lucas out and she said he just has the flu and to just make sure he gets lots of rest right now we're just getting off the plane and heading to the car I can't wait to see my ant and my little brother auggie he's going to summer camp over here so that's why he has to stay over here but sadly Lucas has to just lay in bed we're all jumping into the car I'm about to get in when I look down at the ground and see Lucas

Riley: What are you doing (crosses her arms looking at Lucas on the ground)

Lucas: I am not getting up from this floor unless you give me a kiss (he protests while pouting)     

Riley: Are you serious (groaning annoyed) your sick and I love you, but I don't wanna get sick

Lucas: Pewse (he says In a baby voice)  

I go over to Lucas bend down and give him a quick kiss on the check

Riley: There now can we get in the car (jumping into the car)

He finally gets up from the ground and gets in the car sitting next to me

Lucas: I did not want an kiss on the check I wanted a kiss on (he points to his lips)

Riley Yeah yeah (Rolls eyes playfully at him)

I put my earbuds in, turn on my iPod and start listening to maroon 5 this love lean back in my seat and slowly fall asleep

~30 minutes later ~

I was in a deep sleep when I felt lips on mine I woke up and pulled away to see Lucas in front of me

Riley: Why did you wake me up (rubbing her eyes)

Lucas: Because we're already here

Riley: Oh ok (gets out of the car and Lucas follows her)

Lucas: You wanna take a little walk?

Riley: Your sick remember

Lucas: I'm not (cough) sick (cough)

Riley: then why are you coughing? Hmm (teases)

Lucas: but- (looks ahead, then turns to Riley)  you know what yeah I think that's a good idea lets go inside (rumbles (griping Riley by the waist and trying to make her go back to the the car but she won't budge)

Riley: wait why are you so eager to get inside (suspicious)

Lucas: N-o-I'm not

Riley: spill it Romeo

Lucas: (sighs) fine, at my old school I used to date this girl, her name was g hannelius

Riley: yeah

Lucas: and we did not end on good terms

Riley: what do you mean?

Lucas: she said she would get her revenge

Riley: why did you bring this up now?

Lucas: because she's right over there (points to the park)

Riley:(turns around and sees her watching them with a mad look on her face) (thinks: I'm dead meat) oh well you know what I think we better get you inside

We both run inside the cabin and its huge it has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a big screen tv, a giant couch, and a mini  fridge plus a swimming pool by the lake, we take a seat on the the couch and cuddle even though he's sick.

Lucas: What do you wanna (cough do cough)

Riley:(feels his forehead) your Burning up I should give you some medicine and, then you should get some rest

Lucas:(nods)

I get up go over to the medicine cabinet, sit on the couch and give him the medicine

Riley: here you go take this and get some rest (kisses his head)

Lucas:(doesn't take it)

Riley: come on take it, please (gives him her puppy dog eyes)

Lucas: fine but only for you (takes it)

Riley: thank you (takes the medicine from his hand and puts it on the table) time for bed

Lucas: princess I'm not a baby

Riley: your my baby

Lucas: (blushes) ok I'll go to bed, but only if you lay down with me

Riley: needy much (jokingly)

Lucas: (glares at her)

Riley: kidding kidding (puts her hands up in sunder)

I lay down on the couch with Lucas put my head on his chest, and pull the blanket over us I look over to Lucas to see he's already falling asleep

Riley: goodnight Romeo (giggles)

Riley: Goodnight (yawns) princess

He falls asleep and I stay up for a while thinking what if Lucas goes back to being a bad boy and gets back together with his ex girlfriend I shake those thoughts out of my head and fall into a deep sleep
