Ch. 37: "the one with the rumor"

Riley pov

~ THE NEXT MORNING ~

I was woken up by Lucas kissing my lips I smiled into the kiss and started kissing back he pulled away I looked up into his eyes and realized he was on top of me I blushed bright red, I quickly pecked his lips and sat up while rubbing my eyes.

"Why'd you wake me up." I ask him yawning

"Because your mom said we leave for the airport in thirty minutes." He replied

I widen my eyes "WHAT!"

I Immediately jump up from the couch, and start getting ready I grab my favorite gray hoodie and a shirt that says happily ever afters to exist run in the bathroom slip my outfit on, run out of the bathroom grab my iPod, and headphones, when I'm done getting ready Lucas grabs my waist and sets me down on his lap and puts his head on top of my head.

"Romeo let me up." I say

"No can do my Juliet." He says playing along

"I need to eat breakfast, and we leave for the airport in twenty minutes." I tell him

"Oh come on I wanna spend time with my Juliet." I turn my head to him and see he's pouting

I sigh "fine" I say giving in "but just this once." I say

"YAYY." He says

I turn my head to him and look at him like he's a freak "your a weirdo you know that." I say and roll my eyes playfully at him

"Yes, yes I do." he replies

All of a sudden my phone starts ringing i read the caller id and it says Maya I smile to myself and pick it up

~ Phone convo ~

Me: "hey Maya what's up"? I say happily into the phone

Maya: "RILES SO GALD YOU PICKED UP"

Me: "what's wrong."

Maya: (gulps) "missy spread a rumor about you around school"

Me: WHAT, "WHAT WAS IT" I exclaim into the phone

Maya: (sighed) "the rumor is, that you had sex with Lucas"

At that moment I was so shocked I dropped my phone I could hear Maya saying my name on the other line and Lucas asking me what was wrong, but I barely head them all I could think about was, now my reputation was ruined, forever.
