Ch. 30

Riley pov

I woke up to my mom calling me "RILEY TIME FOR SCHOOL"! I rolled out of bed took the outfit I had laid on the bed went in the bathroom 3 minutes later came out wearing the outfit it was a simple pink dress with a jacket over (A/N the same outfit as in the picture on top) grabbed my high wages and walked downstairs to see waffles on my plate

Topanga (mom) eat up.

Riley:nah I'll get at school. *I said pushing the plate away*

Topanga (mom) Riley are you still sad about.- *she cuts her off*

Riley:please don't say his name.

Topanga (mom) *sighs* ok fine.

Riley:well I gotta go to school see ya. *I said grabbing my bag and walking out the door*

I closed the door and turned around to see the last person I wanted to see

Riley:*crosses her arms* what are you doing here Lucas. *anger raising in my voice*

Lucas:I came to fix things.

Riley:well to late, you can't kiss me and then I'll come rushing into your arms again it's over for good.

Lucas:princess.- *but she cuts him off*

Riley:1) don't call me princess 2) *rolls her eyes and walks away*

~AT SCHOOL~

I was walking to my locker when I was shoved to the ground I looked up and saw missy I tried getting up but she just pushed me down again I finally got up from the ground but missy kicked me hard so hard I knocked into a locker hit my head on something and blacked out

Lucas pov

I was walking out of class when I saw Riley lying on the ground lifeless I ran over to her kneeled down in front of her and checked her pulse she was alive and breathing but her eyes were closed

Lucas:Riley, Riley *he said shaking her* "HELP SOMEONE HELP" *he called out but no one answered*

I picked her up bridal style opened my car door and placed her carefully in the back seat i got in the drivers seat leaned forward and whispered

Lucas:please be ok princess, I need you.

I started the engine and drove quickly to the hospital

~AT THE HOSPITAL~

I raced through the doors carrying Riley in my arms

Lucas:"HELP MY FRIEND NEEDS HELP" *soon two nurses came put her on a gurney*

I was sitting in the waiting room taping my nervously I called Riley's parents they said they would be here right away

Soon Cory and topagona came through the door I told them what happened and they just sat in the waiting room with me my eyes started closing I tried to stay awake but soon the sleep took over and I drifted off

~1 HOUR LATER~

I was woken up by someone shaking me I slowly opened my eyes to see mr. Matthews and a nurse I shot up immediately

Lucas:what's wrong with Riley is she ok PLEASE TELL ME SHES OK. *I trailed off*

Nurse: sir calm down she's just fine she just has a few bruises you can see her now. *smiles and walks away*

I slowly walk into Riley's room and I see her peaceful sleeping I grabbed a chair and sit by her bed grabbing her hand

Lucas:listen, Riley I know you're asleep but I know you can still hear me I'm so so sorry I kissed that girl I'm so sorry for everything

Riley pov

I slowly started opening my eyes and soon I saw light I looked at my surroundings and I realized I was in the hospital why the heck was I in the hospital the last thing I remember was missy Beating me up and then me blacking out I slowly looked to my left and saw Lucas holding my hand tightly and repeating over and over "I love you princess."

Riley:Lucas

Lucas:*I looked up relived at Riley reached over and hugged her tight I slowly Let go and sat on the bed with her*

Lucas:how are you feeling

Riley:I'm fine thanks. *looking down playing with her fingers*

Lucas:listen Riley that kiss with missy meant nothing to me I swear and I have no idea why I kissed her back and the iM messages weren't real one day I was in the Library working on a report on my computer when I stepped away for a few minutes and missy must have put those messages in my IM please believe me please forgive me.

Riley:(sighs) fine I'll forgive but only cuz I love you so much *smiles slightly*

Lucas:*Smiles really wide* I don't deserve you, you know that. *smiles*

Lucas grabs my face cupping my face in his hands and kisses me passionately I don't hesitate and immediately kiss back my hands raffle his hair he laughs into the kiss his arms go around my waist and mine go around his neck we soon realize we're running out of oxygen cuz we're breathing heavily through our noses we pull away and when we do Lucas has this big smile on his face I smile to myself I'm glad we're back together but I'm worried if he's gonna find someone else or break my heart again I mean he's done it before he can do it again I guess he noticed cuz when I looked up at him he had curiosity in his eyes

Lucas:hey you ok?.

Riley:a-r-e you g-o-n-n-a b-break up with me

I ask pain in my voice

Lucas:what no! Why do you ask that?

I look down playing with my fingers I can feel my eyes getting watery which means I'm about to cry I look up trying to keep myself from crying

Riley:it's just you can do so much better then me.

Lucas:come here princess.

He says and grabs my waist he lays down on the hospital bed pulling me down with him

Lucas:you wanna know something?

Riley:*nods*

Lucas:I was just gonna date you for a week then break up with you

Once he said that my heart shattered into a billon pieces

Riley:I knew it

I said getting off the bed and heading towards the door but Lucas pulled me down by my waist

Lucas:I wasn't done I was also going to say but then I started falling in love with you.

Riley:really?

Lucas:yeah, now lay down with me so I can play with your hair.

I giggle at his comment and lay down on the bed next to him and snuggle into his chest while he plays with my hair I find him playing with my hair calming and relaxing my eyes soon start to close I don't want them to cuz i don't want this moment to end but the sleep takes over and I fall into a deep peaceful sleep
