Ch. 39: "the one where lucas gets jealous and sick"

Riley pov

Me my parents and Lucas were in the airport at baggage claim I was getting my bags Lucas was getting a drink at Starbucks I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around thinking it was Lucas but no it was a guy with dark hair hazel eyes that you get lost in forever snap out of it Riley your with Lucas I think to myself

"Um hi sorry if this sounds weird, but I think you're really beautiful" the guy says and blushes a little

"Oh no it's not weird at all, and thank you" I say to him and smile "what's your name" I ask

"Troy" he says smiling at me "what's yours" he asks

"Riley" I say smiling also

"Well Riley would you-" he starts but gets cut off when Lucas comes out of nowhere, putting his arm around my waist

"Sorry buddy she's taken" Lucas says grinding his teeth "now buh bye" he says and I think his blood is boiling

The guy runs away scared, I get out of Lucas's grip and see he's smiling to himself

"What was that" I ask and cross my arms over my chest, and raising an eyebrow

"Oh come on, you know you love it when I'm jealous" he says smirking and wiggles his eyebrows

"No, no I don't" I say

We walk over to my parents, and get on the plane to California

~ On the plane ~

We got on the plane and the seating arrangements are mom and dad next to each other, there wasn't an extra seat next to Lucas I was gonna seat somewhere else, but Lucas demanded I sit next to him, so I'm seating on his lap, not that I mind right Lucas's head is on my lap and I'm playing with his hair, I swear sometimes I think we act like an married couple I look down at my Lap and see Lucas asleep I smile to myself, I slowly pick his head up off my lap place it on a pillow and get up but then I hear

"Wait" I hear Lucas's groggy voice wine "princess where are you going"

"I'm just gonna go to the bathroom" I say kissing his forehead

"Ok but hurry back" he says and starts coughing

I touch his forehead and he's burning up

"Lukey your really hot, I think you might have a fever" I say worriedly

"That's impossible I'm not sick" he says and starts shivering

"I'm gonna go see if the flight attendant can give me some chicken soup and a blanket" I say getting up

"Hurry back" he says

"I will" I say slightly smiling, kissing his forehead once again and going to go see if the flight attendant has the stuff I need, looks like I'm gonna have to nurse him back to health
