Rebecca's POV

I groan because of the pain of my head. I shouldn't have drink so much but that is something that I have no control over because my mind is way too messy and I need to let it out.

Just then, I realized I'm not in my room. I look at my side and saw Ms. Sarocha peacefully sleeping, I smile unconciously.

"Like what you're seeing?" She suddenly spoke and it caught me off guard. I jump back and look away, blushing.

"Why am I here?" I asked, genuinely confused of this whole deal. "Well, you're pretty drunk and Noey called me to pick you up since she saw you pretty wasted." She explained and put her palm under her chin.

Her posture makes her look so sexy.

Oh jeez, Becca. What in the world are you thinking?

In this whole moment of silence, she took my hand and look at me in the eyes. I look at her and noticed that she's not been sleeping well.

"I want to tell you something, Becca." She said in her gentle voice, her voice is so soft and it looks like she's almost pleading to me with just those sentence.

"What is it? What's wrong? You're not sleeping well, aren't you?" I asked as I unconsciously held her face and was about to take it back when she rest her face against my palms.

This is the side of Ms. Sarocha that only I will be able to see.

"I want to start over with you. My sins is not something that can be forgiven just because I stopped doing it, it will always be here with me. I hope you understand that." She suddenly open up, and that made me smile.

I'm happy that despite the gruesome articles I read online, I can see that there's still humanity left in her.

That got to mean something, right?

"I understand." I said and smiled.

"Which is why, I want you to come with me. Far away from this place." She said, I looked at her and she looks back at me with hopeful eyes.

Far away from here..

That shocked me. I have no problem in leaving everything behind because from the start, everything about this place is very painful to me. I want to start over as well but I don't have the means because I don't have a money on my own.

Is this my second chance?

Is this the reward of all the suffering I endured?

I got taken back when I felt her fingertips wiping the tears on my cheeks, I didn't even notice that I cried.

"I'm sorry, okay? I know a simple apology won't ever fix that. Despite the dark nature of those whom I killed, they still deserve to rest easy. I want to live again, I want to start a new life for the better. For you and for us, Rebecca. Please come with me, away from here." She said and gave me a smile, a hopeful smile.

It's like she's saying to help her start over.

You know that feeling when you thought everything is over? But with just a few words everything starts to feel bright again. Everything starts worth living..
