"Jerome, I don't have time for this. Chris and I are supposed to be having date night tonight." I whined.

"It'll only be an hour. I promise." Jerome said. He was dragging me along to his first cryotherapy appointment. He was trying to get ready for training camp and he wanted to be completely healthy for the season.

"But why do I have to come? Why didn't you just ask Ashlyn to come? Isn't she into fitness and all that?" I asked.

"You're my manager. I wanted you here, not her." He said making me sigh.

"I better not be late to my damn hair appointment because of you." I mumbled as I grabbed my briefcase and purse.

I'd scheduled all of my clients early this morning and skipped my lunch so I could leave work early today. I was supposed to have my first date night with Chris. Jerome was keeping the kids for the weekend and Aireka was watching Christian and London for us. I was supposed to get my hair done before going to the spa. Until, Jerome popped up at my job, begging me to go to therapy with him.

"I'll pay for your hair appointment." He grinned as we got on the elevator.

"No thanks." I mumbled as I got out my phone to check to see if I had any missed calls or messages.

"You wanna go to lunch after?" He asked making me sigh.

"No, Jerome." I told him.

"Why not?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"We're not friends Jerome so stop acting like it." I told him. As soon as those words came out of my mouth, I regretted them. The look on his face made me feel even worse. "I didn't mean it like that I-"

"Don't worry about it." He mumbled before stepping off of the elevator.

"Wait! Jerome I really didn't mean it." I said trying to catch up with him in these heels. I was dang near sprinting trying to keep up with him as he walked toward the parking garage. "Jerome, I'm sorry it didn't come out right." I said grabbing his arm.

"It's cool." He shrugged.

"No it's not and I'm sorry." I apologized.

"Damn, why can't I ever stay mad at you?" He groaned making me laugh.

"Because I'm so cute." I giggled.

"Probably." He scoffed.

"Hurry up so that we can go to your ugly appointment. I gotta go get cute for my man." I said walking towards my car.

"I could say something real petty right now but I'm not even gonna do it." He said shaking his head as we went our separate ways. I got in my car and made a detour to Starbucks before meeting Jerome at his appointment.

I got out with my drink in hand and walked into the cool building. I found Jerome already in the lobby, filling out paper work. He had a look of concentration on his face and I couldn't help but to laugh as I sat next to him.

"Can you fill this out?" He asked placing the clipboard in my lap. I smacked my lips before taking the pen from him. As I was reading over the forms and answering the questions I saw Jerome's big ass hand move toward my drink from the corner of my eye. Did his dumb ass really not think I couldn't see him?

"You must want to get slapped huh?" I asked him as I filled out his height and weight on the health form.

"Can I have some, please?" He asked, smacking his lips.

"No." I scoffed. "You better go get your own." I said as I flipped to the next page on his packet of forms. About five minutes later I was finally finished filling out all of this paper work and all that was left to do was for Jerome to sign them.
