Mirana sighs as she sits in the briefing room, scrolling through apartment adverts on her phone. She and Lucy had been given the news that they were going to be evicted as their current apartment building was going to be converted into condos.

"Any luck?" Lucy asks, sitting next to Mirana.

"Nope," Mirana shakes her head. "By the way, those t-shirts are brutal"

"Yeah, Lawrence is the worst,"

"Morning," Grey says, sitting next to Lucy.

"Morning sir," Lucy says.

"Hey, what about this place?" Mirana asks Lucy.

"You want to move into Bronson Estates?" Lucy asks. "That's the worst idea you've ever had"

"We're on a clock Luce,"

"Officer Chen is right," Sergeant Grey says. "The pair of you living there is not a good idea. Especially considering you, Officer Cabrera, were involved in the Marcus Vance incident there"

"We're back to square one," Mirana says to Lucy.

Nolan appears at the end of the table, surprise on his face when he spots Sergeant Grey in his seat.

"Officer Nolan," Grey says. "You will be leading roll call this morning"

"Sir?" Nolan asks confused.

"I didn't stutter. Get up there," Grey says.

Nolan goes to stand behind the podium as heckling and jeering rises from the other officers.

"What now?" Nolan asks,

"The clipboard," Grey says and Nolan picks the clipboard up.

"Uh, Memo to all divisions from the Chief of Police. Complaints about police officer entitlement have risen sharply during the last few months." Nolan reads aloud and Grey raises his hand. "Sir?"

"Do you know what that means? Police officer entitlement?" Grey asks.

"I assume it has to do with unauthorized perks. Free food, things of that nature," Nolan replies.

"And what is LAPD's policy on gratuities?" Grey continues quizzing Nolan.

"No officer shall receive any gratuity, gift, favour, or promise thereof, as it may result in, or be perceived as, payment in exchange for influence, bias, or direction of an investigation or enforcement of punishable offences,"

"Nicely done. Chen, Cabrera, West, will you please join Officer Nolan up front?"

Mirana gets up along with Lucy and Jackson, joining Nolan by the podium. She meets Tim's eye and he gives her a wink.

"Have your training officers discussed this policy with you?" Grey asks.

"Yes, sir," They all say in unison.
