Game night

a few hours had past and leah and i hadn't moved off of the sofa

beth sent leah a message and katie sent me a message to let us know that they were on their way

we both quickly got changed and waited for their arrival

leah kept making a fuss of me and kept checking up on me because of what happened earlier

around 20 minutes later, all of the girls arrived

i opened the door for them whilst leah got out the board games and put some snacks in a bowl

beth immediately went over to leah to greet her

caitlin, katie and viv remained close to me

after greeting all of the girls, we all sat down in the living room

"who wants to play monopoly first?" leah asked confidently

"let's do it" katie replied even more confidently

the game felt like it went on forever

within the first 20 minutes, leah had bought most of the properties and was slowly making us all bankrupt

beth was the first to run out of money, followed by caitlin and then viv

katie, leah and i were the only ones left

i landed on mayfair which had a house on it and i owed leah 5000 which i did not have

i went bankrupt and was kicked out of the game

katie was going strong until she landed on oxford street which had a house on it

"fuck sake" katie exclaimed

"you're all shit" leah said cockily

"you definitely cheated" i said as i turned my head towards leah

"i won fair and square" leah smirked

we all rolled our eyes at her before moving onto the next game

the next game was uno

viv handed out the cards and we began to play

the order of placing down cards was caitlin, beth, viv, leah, me and then katie

i was waiting for someone to place a switch card so i could place all of my +4 cards down so leah would suffer

katie finally played the switch card and i knew it was my time to shine

i placed down the +4 with no mercy and leah's eyes shot straight into my mine

"i see how it is" she said with an angry expression on her face

i had no chance of winning so i thought i'd at least give someone else the chance if i kept placing pick up cards for leah

katie called uno as she placed her card down

i placed down my card which showed a circle with a line through it to skip leah's go

"wow you really do hate me" she said but refused to look at me

i pouted my lips at her

katie placed down her last card and won the game

"looks like someone's as competitive as you le" i said with a smirk on my face

"whatever" she replied

"don't be a sore loser. no one likes a sore loser" i said as i attempted to place my hand on her shoulder but she moved away from me
