Today, I watched a video on YouTube by a lady named Jackie Stout. The video is titled "Why won't God answer my prayer?? | Here's why..." in which she talks about how disobedience and sin can distance us from God's promises.
She also shares her own experience of how God had spoken to her, telling her to start a YouTube channel and preach the gospel. She initially resisted and wondered why God wasn't answering her prayers, specifically for a husband, which was one of her desires. Only after she obeyed and began preaching on YouTube did she meet her husband through a video on the platform.I reflected on this video. Is there something that God wants me to do, but I'm not doing? Could my prayers be unanswered because of this? I will examine my life and bring it to prayer. I commit to obeying God and trusting Him from now on, and we'll see if He hears me.
