Chapter 25

3rd Pov

"Bhabhi" Ansh shouted gaining 9 month pregnant Anuradha's attention who was busy cutting unripen green mangoes for pickles. She looked up to see him.

"Kya hua Ansh?" She asked.
(What happened Ansh?)

"Mela laga hai humare gaon mei. Chalte haina sab"
(There is fair happening in our village. We should go)

"Apne bhaiya se poochna pehle"
(First ask your brother)

"Aap pooch Lena bhabhi. Aapki baat maan lege"
(You ask na. He will agree to you)

"Theek hai pehle unhe aane toh de" She said and Ansh went outside to play.
(Ok I'll ask but first let him come)

In the night when Shiv finally returned to their room, Anuradha was sitting on their bed, thinking.

"Kya soch rhi hai itne dhyaan se?" Shiv asked looking amused as his wife was making such a cute face.
(What are you thinking?)

"Kuch nhi" Anuradha said and folded her hands.
(Nothing)

"Kya hua meri jaan?" He asked, keeping his head on her lap.
(What happened my life)

"Aapne mujhe bataya kyu nhi ki mela laga hai?" She questioned him.
(Why didn't you tell me that a fair is happening in our village?)

"Isme kya nyi baat hai? Har saal lagta hai"
(What's new in it? It happens every year)

"Toh mujhe jana hai"
(I want to go)

"Anuradha abhi nhi"
(Anuradha not right now)

"Aree mein kisi jhoole par nhi baithugi pakka"
(I am not going to sit on any ride)

"Anuradha"

"Ansh aur Aarav ko bhi itna maan tha. Kitna maza aata" she said making a dreamy sad face.
(Ansh and Aarav also want to go)

"Theek hai baba Kal chal lenge" Shiv said giving into his wife's wishes.
(Ok we'll go tomorrow)

"Sacchi?" Anuradha said excitedly.
(Realy?)

"Haan"
(Yes)

The next day, Shiv, Anuradha, Aarav and Ansh went to the mela. There were so many stalls of clothes, foods, accessories and so much more. It was pretty crowded and lively. Shiv was walking ahead of them, Aarav was looking around and Ansh was excitedly telling everything he saw to Anuradha.

"Bhaiya hum ja rhe jhoola jhoolne" Ansh said.
(Brother we are going on rides)

"Haan bhaiya mera bhi maan hai" Aarav added.
(Me too)

"Theek hai jao. Par dhyaan se. Yeh lo paise" Shiv said and gave them some money.
(Ok but take care of yourself. Here take this money)

"Aree bhabhi aap bhi chalo" Ansh said looking at Anuradha.
(Will you come with us?)

"Tu bewakoof hai kya? Wo nhi jaegi" Shiv was glaring at him.
(Are you stupid? She'll not come)

"Ansh Bhabhi ki tabiyat" Aarav interrupted in between making Ansh understand.
(Ansh her condition)

"Aree haan" Ansh said looking at her swollen belly. They both went away.
(Ohh yes)

Shiv started walking ahead of Anuradha. She tried to catch upto him but couldn't.

"Kitna tez chalte hai yeh" she thought.
(He walks very fastly)
