SUMMARY:
Y/n Dovecote had always grown up in Panem with her sister and their parents. Unlike her sister, she kept to herself most of the time and was as quiet as she could be. Other than spending her time with Sejanus Plinth, a good friend of hers, she would spend most of her time with herself unless her sister pulled her into a group of people with her.
Many in Panem knew of Coriolanus Snow's feelings towards the Dovecote girl and how he always made advances towards her, though she would be completely oblivious to them and take them for friendly actions... because she had never been interested in him in that way.
The Snow boy had always been jealous of one of the only people she spent her time with, which happened to be Sejanus Plinth. He wanted her attention. He felt like he deserved it with how nice he was to her, which is why he would sit with them during lunch and try to speak with her more and more.
However, when the tenth hunger games arrive and they are assigned tributes, Y/n is assigned as the mentor for the male tribute from district twelve.
Luke/Luca Gray Baird (i don't know which name is better) didn't think he'd win the games when his name was picked after the mayor's son convinced his father to call out his name, all because of Luke/Luca's ex-girlfriend. But when he met his mentor, he felt like he might've had a chance.
And through the moments they have together, she's determined to help him win as best as she can because of the feelings that are slowly growing inside her towards the district twelve tribute. The same thing he's feeling for her.
Neither of them are aware of someone watching them the whole time.
And when Y/n's caught cheating to help her tribute and she ends up going to district twelve to see him again, he follows her there to stop their relationship.
