SUMMARY:
The only reason Y/n Eaton chose Dauntless was to reunite with the only person she ever felt safe with growing up after her mother supposedly died, leaving her, her older brother and their abusive father, the leader of the faction she grew up in.
Many people would talk about the fact that Marcus Eaton would lose both of his children to Dauntless. After Y/n would jump off the building, she didn't expect to see her older brother's eyes right away as he helped her out of the net... and he didn't expect to see her at all, thinking she'd pick another faction.
Peter Hayes didn't know what he found about her, but he couldn't help but find himself always silently admiring her anytime he could, when he wasn't focusing on being first and not becoming factionless. He didn't know why he was making fun of her.
Maybe because he was scared.
And after learning her aptitude test was more than one faction, she feels a war going on in her heart, trying to choose the good or be with him.
