Keefe
Keefe grew more and more anxious as the day went on. By the time it had ended and he had to return 'home' (he wasn't even sure if he could call it that anymore), it felt as though a small stone was lodged into his heart.

"You okay?" Tam asked Keefe as he and Linh were about to leap. "You don't have to go back there."

Keefe nodded at him and smiled reassuringly. It wasn't a fake smile, but it was the kind of smile that made people sad and heart heavy. "I'll be fine, Tammy. I won't let him keep controlling me anymore. I'll hail you after I talk to him, okay?"

"See you later." Tam nodded, squeezing Keefe's hand. Looking down, Keefe noticed that Tam had painted his nails black again. He smiled. He would have to keep that in mind for later.

Both of them leaped back home. Keefe's confidence wavered as soon as he saw Lord Cassius sitting in one of their many living rooms. Keefe took in a deep breath, and tried to make his voice cold like steel. Cassius gazed down at him with the same coldness in his eyes.

"I'm not going to stop seeing Tam." Keefe stated, not daring to loose eye contact with his Father. Eye contact shows authority, and Keefe needed to take back his free will.

Cassius stood up from his chair abruptly, beginning to speak. Keefe cut him off, already predicting in his mind what his Father had to say. "You can't control me anymore. Im going to do as I please and honestly I don't give a fuck to whether it ruins your oh so perfect reputation or not."

Cassius's body quaked from anger. Keefe's would've looked the same if he hadn't been trying his hardest to control his emotions. "Keefe, I understand where you are coming from but surely you understand where I am coming from. Surely you see that this is utterly disgusting and unhuma-"

"No." Keefe didn't raise his voice intentionally; the sudden outburst scared himself a little, but he didn't show that. "You're not allowed to speak to me that way. Ever."

Cassius sighed. "Keefe, you don't make the rules. I am your father, so you will-"

One singular, silent tear streamed out from Keefe's eye. "Stop. Stop controlling me, because regardless of what you do or say or believe I am not going to change. This isn't just about Tam. And if you have a fucking problem with that, I'm leaving. I'm leaving you and this fucking house that I can't even call a home anymore. You're a horrible and selfish Father, who only thinks about himself."

Cassius looked away, no doubt gritting his teeth as he stared at the wall behind Tam. His controlling Father wasn't prone to this much fuss from Keefe, and quite frankly it was very inconvenient."Fine. But if word of your desires gets out to the public I will have no choice but to-"

"I will be coming out on my own terms. That is not right now, but when I do you will have no say in the matter." Keefe fumed. It left Cassius in a dreadful silence, and the blonde boy left for his room.

After locking the door, Keefe pulled out his imparter and laid tiredly on his bed. In some weird and wacky part of his subconscious, he wondered what Tam's bed felt like to lie on. "Tam Song."

Tam's face appeared and Keefe's whole body relaxed in seeing his boyfriend's face. Tam was looking at him with a somewhat worried expression. Which was, of course, absolutely understandable. "Hey, Keefe. How did it go? Are you okay?"

Keefe didn't say anything and they both sat in silence for a while. He pursed his lips. "Can I come over? Actually, can I stay for the night?"

"I'll just have to ask Tiergan first," Tam replied. "Hold on."

Tam's face disappeared for a moment and Keefe could hear muffled voices in the distant background. As the dark haired boy reappeared in the hologram, he nodded. "Okay. Come over."

Keefe smirked and hung up, quickly packing an over night bag and rushing out the door. He sauntered past Lord Cassius with a glare. "I will be back after school tomorrow."

Keefe didn't wait for an answer as he stepped into the light that the leapmaster produced, that would take him to Solreef.

Tam was already waiting for him outside the beautiful home. He smiled a greeting and Keefe smiled back in return. Together, they entered the house, Tam opening the door for his guest. The first room they entered was a rather large living room.

Tiergan was waiting inside, and warmly greeting Keefe. "Keefe, welcome. You brought a sleeping bag, right?"

Keefe smirked and nodded, glancing at Tam. Something told him in the back of his mind that he wouldn't need it, anyway.

"Good, then," Tiergan turned away, heading towards a hallway on the right side of the room. "I'll let you two do whatever, then."

Tam led Keefe up a grand staircase on the left side of the room that continued to the second floor. After a bit of walking, they had finally reached Tam's room.

"Shit. I don't think I have ever been in here before." Keefe gazed around at the large room. The bed was in the middle against a wall, directly in front of him. There was a door to the far left leading into what Keefe assumed was his walk-in closet (of course Tam would need a closet). To the far right there was an open door leading into Tam's bathroom. There was also a desk and wooden bookcase in the room. Most of everything was some shade of black, grey or white, all except a couple hot pink pillows that sat on Tam's bed. Windows lined the wall in front of him, letting light pour in. Keefe breathed in, enjoying the aroma as it matched Tam's own aroma precisely.
