Rather it's the thoughts that are consuming you, maybe it was the guilt still lingering there or maybe it's because you hurted them but everything seems to be revering back to the fight when you ran away.

Just utter guilt.

Itachi moves forward to you, but not close enough as everyone forms a formation. Excluding Shisui and Sasuke who were stubborn.

"[Name], we could talk about this and go home." Itachi coaxed as your back was faced to them, seemingly not responding. "Come on [name]! We'll get ramen when we get home. You just have to go with us." Shisui tempted, unsure of what else to say.

"[Name], uhm, come back. You still have to help me with my jutsu's." Sasuke lowly muttered, a bit shy but he didn't care at the moment.

Silence was all they heard, an eerie air was what they felt, it felt like they were being suffocated. Suddenly, a sadistic laugh rang through the air, a chill running up their spines as they heard your laugh.

You were there, clutching your stomach while more sadistic laughs escaped your mouth.

You turned to them, looking deranged with that wide grin you're wearing. "Is that all I really am to you guys? A friend of convenience?" You asked, a few laughs escaping you once more.

"What! No! You aren't." Shisui tried to reason as he took a step forward towards you. "Oh really? It feels like that! HAHAHAHA. It really does. My question is, would you have tried to find me if I served no value to you guys? If I wasn't just there to hear the problems you guys face in life and then have no time for me?" You questioned as more laughs escaped you, a very sadistic and poisonous tone laced in it.

Everybody shivered, although rather composed, they felt the chill running up their spines as they heard you. The SSI trio (Shisui, Sasuke, Itachi) could only widen their eyes at your question, guilt replacing their faces as soon as you finished.

"see? You guys have no answer or whatsoever because you know I'm right." You pointed out, a distant look in your eyes as you stared at them. "No, [name]. You're not a peer, comrade or friend of convenience. It is not true. We are truly sorry if we made you feel that way." Itachi muttered out, shock not leaving his system yet.

"Oh! Then you should've noticed earlier. Maybe then, I wouldn't have tried to run away. And since when did you care?" You replied back as you see Itachi's blood drain from his face. A bewildered expression on his face as you muttered that out.

"What does she mean, Itachi?" Sasuke asked curiously peeking at Itachi's facial expression while Shisui remained silent, so did Itachi. "Well, [name]-chan, we're truly sorry for making you feel that way. I never knew." Shisui mumbled out, guilt lacing his voice.

"Oh, ok. It's not that I don't understand the life of a shinobi and their schedules, for I, myself am one too. But you know what? You guys hang out with me when nobody's with you. Nobody to hang out with. Although, I do enjoy the company, it hurted when I realized." You distantly explained.

"No, no, really [name], you aren't a friend of convenience to me. You're one of the people I cherish the most." Shisui confessed out as he moved forward again with Itachi and Sasuke following.
