"Oh yeah? Don't lie to my face. Why else would you have hickies on your neck?" Steel asked and pointed at the hickies he spotted.

Rasmus was wearing a turtleneck when they first arrived at the school premises. He also wore the same top during their classes today. Rasmus must've taken a bath already and changed into more comfortable clothes.

So it made the marks on his neck become very visible. There were at least three or four of them. And Rasmus might've forgotten to cover them with a scarf.

"I-It's not what you think…" he said and immediately fumbled to his closet and grabbed his scarf to cover his neck.

He looked more flush now and his cheeks were growing hot.

"If you don't have a girlfriend then…" Steel trailed as he started to think. "Wait! Don't tell me they are sexually harassing you too!" He added as he stood up facing the boy with worry.

"N-no… I-it's not them…" Rasmus muttered as he looked away. Fidgeting with his fingers nervously.

"Then who? Rasmus you can tell me. I'll be your friend." Steel said to him but the boy only lowered his head and went back to sit on his bed. Steel also sat beside him and leaned down to try to look at his face.

"I… Please don't tell anyone. Promise me." The boy whispered and Steel was quick to nod his head.

"I-I got it three days ago… There were people that tried to break into our house… Then the four of them stole my father's bikes and the three that were left broke the window and got in."

"I thought they were thieves. And s-she said they're just gonna use the telephone."

"She? Do you know her?" Steel asked and Rasmus shook his head.

"But she did this to you?" He asked again and Rasmus nodded.

"How far did she go?"

"I-it was just a makeout session. I-I don't even know why I didn't push her. Maybe I was scared she'll hurt me." Rasmus reasoned as his eyes grew a bit teary but he quickly blinked it away.

"If you're scared. Why are you blushing?" Steel teased and Rasmus looked at him offended. Making the gray hair laugh hilariously.

"Relax! I'm teasing you! You're always so tense! But don't worry. I'll never tell anyone. Promise." He said and assured the younger who only nodded and smiled at him.

Rasmus eventually became comfortable with him and they continued to talk. Steel felt the same way and was pretty straightforward all the time. He even told him the main reason why he befriended the younger male.

It was about half an hour before the curfew. The door suddenly opened and an unexpected guy walked in with his luggages.

"Oh?" Rasmus and Steel said in unison upon recognizing the guy.

It was actually Ross. And Cayden also appeared behind him. After he found out from Luna about Ross' room number. He approached the guy and offered to show him the way and helped him with his luggages.

"It's the kid." Ross said as they placed the luggages on the side.

Steel noticed that Rasmus became more tense again. He wasn't smiling anymore.

"Told you he'll come around." Cayden chuckled and stood beside Ross who was standing not far in front of the two.

"We haven't officially met. My name's Cayden and this is Ross. He is a transferee here. And you guys are?" Cayden began to speak first.

"I'm Steel. This is Rasmus." Steel replied as short as possible.

"Where did you go? We said we were gonna have lunch after the clinic but you suddenly disappeared." Ross said and pulled a chair from Rasmus' study. Sitting close to him. He placed his chin on his hands and looked at the boy with an adoring face.

It made Cayden and Steel observe him. Earlier during class, he was quiet the whole time. Even when Steel saw him entering the canteen during lunch. He had no expression on his face. But whenever he tries to engage Rasmus in a conversation. He has that sickeningly sweet smile on his face.

I guess I'm worried for nothing.
Steel thought at the back of his mind.

Cayden also pulled the chair from Steel's study and sat beside him. Watching Ross and Rasmus.

"I-I just didn't wanna bother you… I-I already put you in trouble with Cullen…" Rasmus mittered and lowered his head more as if he could hide it deep to his chest that was already hitting his chin.

"You don't bother us." Ross said and tried to nudge the younger one so he would look at him. "It's rude not to look when someone is talking to you." He said and Rasmus immediately looked at him but quickly looked away.

Cayden and Steel eventually noticed this behavior and they both shared a look.

"Rasmus. You're okay. If you think you look like a horrid creature in front of us, you're not. You're actually cute." Cayden tried to talk to him too and the boy let out a huff.

"That's not true. I look horrible. But thanks." Rasmus said quietly.

"Don't say that." Ross said to him but Rasmus seems to want to drop the topic now.

"I'll go to sleep now. Good night." He mumbled before he crawled to his bed and hid himself under his blankets.

The three only shared a look at each other before looking back at the young boy hiding from them.

"Come on. Let's get to sleep too. He won't talk anymore." Cayden said with a sigh and returned the chairs on their spot.

The three decided to go to sleep around midnight. Steel stirred awake upon hearing mutterings by the window. He was sleeping on top of Rasmus' bed. So he's also not far from the terrace.

He rubbed his eyes and checked too what was causing the sound. And then he saw Jairo and Cullen who were pushing at each other. They were sweating and panting. They must've been chased by the guards because it's already curfew.

He decided to ignore the two and went back to sleep.
