"Do y'all like pumpkin pie or sweet potato?"
India questioned curiously. Normani, Ari, Jasmine and India stood in the middle of the aisle at the grocery store. Thanksgiving was just a few days away now and they were preparing for their Friendsgiving. Mostly everybody was going to attend... besides maybe Durk and Von.
Speaking of Von, Normani really wasn't talking to him much since the funeral. He would call her phone occasionally, in which she would just ignore him.
She was so tired of his mood swings and drama with Durk at this point, she was just over it. She knew she was lowkey being petty, ignoring Von the way she was doing. I mean, Von always loves to ghost me whenever he's upset, so why can't I right???
"Uhhh who the fuck eats pumpkin pie?"
Ari questioned while frowning.
"Me bitch."
Jasmine stated in a matter of fact tone. Normani just chuckled as Ari shook her head with disgust.
"I mean, I can make both pies-"
"Aww hell naw."
Ari said while cutting India off.
"We only eat sweet potato pie in this house."
She boosted. Jasmine sucked her teeth.
"Girl you gotta cater to all yo guest. Make me my damn pumpkin pie."
She pointed. India just laughed as she grabbed a box of pumpkin pie, throwing it in the cart.
"Ima just make both. Y'all gon have to deal with it."
She snickered.
"Who makin the turkey?"
Ari questioned. Normani just raised her hand up while smirking.
