It was a Friday night again. Normani had spent at least 6 hours of her shift serving drinks and mingling with people at Magic.
She had 10 minutes left to go before it was time for her to clock out. She was spending that time just admiring the strippers as they danced on the pole.
Ari was actually in the distance doing her set on stage. Normani couldn't help but admire how flawless Ari looked as she twisted her body all types of ways.
Hallucinating by Future was blasting through out the club as Ari danced. Normani just watched in awe as money fell like rain all around Ari as she shook her ass.
"Damn.."
She muttered as Ari did a split. I see why she makes so much money... she's literally a pro. Mani thought to herself.
The sound of her phone buzzing underneath the counter caught her attention as she just rolled her eyes.
"That better not be who I think it is.."
She grumbled lowly as she grabbed her phone. She glared at the screen as 4 new text messages from Durk popped up.
He had been texting her all day, asking to see if she wanted to go on a second date with him.
The first date wasn't even a real date..
Plus, Normani had been thinking a lot about what Ari said when she suggested that Durk might have some hidden motives towards her.
And as far as Normani was concerned, she wasn't planning on ever linking with Durk ever again.
She just rolled her eyes as she began typing annoyedly at her phone.
"You good lil folks?"
A familiar male voice sounded. Normani paused, her eyes looking up and meeting with Von's.
