Ch.24

Esme woke up and frowned as she realised that she was in bed alone. She sat up and frowned. She knew that she felt as if she was getting her life back on track with everything that had happened

Esme knew all that Dean had done but she knew that she wasn't going to let him ruin her life. Esme knew that she was with gray and she was happy and that a lot has happened with them but she felt as if there was a strain with them and she hated it

Esme stood from the bed and walked through the house. She saw gray as he stood in the kitchen and smiled

"Hey" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"I thought that you were asleep" he said as she smirked

"I woke up and you weren't there" she said as he looked to her and smiled. He wrapped an arm around her bed held her close

"I wanted to let you sleep. I know all that you have been through and you haven't been sleeping" he said as she smiled

"I know. But I have you and I'm happy. I want us to be okay and I feel like we are slowly getting there" Esme said as he grabbed her waist and pulled her to him

He lifted her up onto the counter and stood between her legs and smiled "it's all going to be okay" he said as he leant in and kissed her

She kissed him back and moaned as he ran his hands up her thighs. She moaned against his touch and pulled him close. She rolled her head back as she felt him push into her. She dug her nails into his back and pulled him closer as he moved in and out of her

Esme smiled as she walked into the vic. She smiled as she saw Mia "hey are you okay" Esme asked as mia smiled

"Yeah I'm fine. I decided to give it a go with jack. How are you. You look happy. I don't think I have seen you this happy in a long time" Mia said as she looked to Esme

"I know I mean you know that a lot has happened but gray and I are on a good palace. Dean is gone and I am moving on with my life" Esme said as mia smiled

"Good. I am glad. He is going get what is coming to him while inside I mean you know what they do to rapists" Mia said as Esme smiled

She knew how none of it was easy but she was t going to let what happened to her effect her. She knew she deserved better

Esme stood in the house as she got home. She frowned as she heard gray on the phone. He was yelling at someone

"No. Don't you get it. I did what I had to do. Esme had been through a lot and she can't find out. I won't let her find out. I won't let her down again. What I did was for her and for what was best. You keep your mouth shut" he said as Esme closed the door

"Hey" gray said as he walked out of the living room as she smiled. He walked over to her and smiled

"Hi. Are you okay" she asked as he smiled

"Oh just a Client" he said as she smiled. Esme wasn't stupid and she knew that he was up to something and keeping something from her but would Esme find out the truth?
