Esme sat on the kitchen with Mia and Linda as Linda talked wedding. She looked to her and smiled. Esme knew how this was all her mum wanted and she knew that she was a diva and she knew how she did want her parents to be happy even if that meant finally getting married
"You know that whatever you decide mum you will look beautiful. You may want the big wedding but all that matters is that you and dad love each other" mia said as Esme smiled
"She's right I know it's hard knowing that us and Ollie are going to be the only kids there but it will be okay" Esme said as Linda smiled
"I just want it to be perfect after all you know. After all Esme had been through" Linda said as Esme looked to her mother and smiled.
Esme knew how bad that Linda felt and how she blamed herself with what happened with dean
"You know that none of this is your fault. It's deans and what he did and I am not going to let what he did to me. Ruin me and I am not going to let him ruin your wedding. You and dad have waited over twenty years and you are going to get married and everything will be okay" Esme said as Linda looked to her and smiled
"When did my baby get so wise" she asked as Esme looked to her and smiled as Linda pulled her into a hug and smiled

Esme got home and smiled as she saw gray. She wakes over to where he stood in the kitchen as she wrapped her arm around him
He turned to face her and smirked as he grabbed her waist and pulled her to him and smiled
"Where have you been" he asked as she smiled
"I have been dealing with bridezilla. If we ever get married we are eloping" she said as he looked to her and smirked
"I don't like the idea of that. Of hiding you from everyone. But when we do get married we will discuss it" he said as he leant in and kissed her
He knew how far that he and Esme had come and he knew how she had been through and he knew how much it made him realise that he loved her and how he wanted to be with her
"Maybe one day" she said as she leant in and kissed him

Esme lay on bed with gray that night. She knew how hard that she was trying to get her life back to normal and she knew it wasn't easy but she knew that she was thankful for gray and all that he had done
Esme had no idea that as she was trying to move on with her future and what had happened with gray how he was plotting against her to make her pay for what he thought as ruining his life
All that was certain was that the carter wedding wasn't going to go easy as planned and how someone would be Left fighting for their life
