With the busyness of fashion week over, adjusting to his new classes, and the weight of his feelings off his chest, Zayn felt at ease.

It was already halfway through February and March was quickly nearing which to him signaled he was halfway through the semester. To Harry it meant spring break and finally celebrating his birthday since Zayn was occupied the whole month.

Harry was wanting to go to LA or Vegas. He was intrigued with American cities that were all about the glitz and glam to photograph them. Zayn swears the psychological side of him is what caused the fascination.

He changed into some comfy clothes then lit a couple candles after cleaning the whole loft. Liam would be there any second and almost 30 minutes before it was a mess. Clothes and swag bags were everywhere due to the week he had.

He and Liam decided to have their first date in the comfort of either ones home. Liam said he wanted it to be private and away from the press's eyes because this date was real.

With a knock at the door he got butterflies. He walked to the door then paused to take a deep breathe. Letting the air out he turned the knob and opened the door to Liam in a white tee and sweats like him. He wore a hat with his ensemble though and Zayn had to admit it made him look extra hot.

"Hi" Liam smiled at him holding a picnic basket. He took Zayns look in noticing the resemblance. "and you're already copying me?" He questioned entering the door.

"You said comfy. Doesn't everyone have this exact same comfy fit?" Zayn closed the door then threw his hands up. "What'd you bring?"

Liam set the basket down on the dining table and turned to Zayn pulling him into an embrace. It had been almost five days since they came clean to each other and it actually felt as if they'd been dating for a while.

Before when being in the same room they hardly said a word and now they couldn't stop talking to one another. Per Niall's schedule in the days after the show, they still remained having public outings like lunch after classes. The usual tensity in the air was now calm and inviting. Even the pictures being taken of them were different because they seemed genuinely happy.

"I guess so and just some deserts I picked up. I uh ordered takeout on the way over by the way. Should be here any second. Sorry I'm not much of a cook." Liam sheepishly shrugged letting go of Zayn.

"Aha it's okay. I hardly have any groceries to cook either. Just been a crazy month. I'll put this on the coffee table for now." He said taking the basket. As he turned to the living room a knock at the door sounded and Liam went for the food.

He retrieved the bags from the delivery guy along with a generous tip. Placing the bags on the table he took out the containers and placed them accordingly. "Ready? He questioned.

Zayn too set out the last of the contents in the basket. He grew excited because most of it was some of his favorite choices. He pulled out mini cakes in all his favored flavors. "Yeah coming!" He said closing the basket and walked a few steps to the table.

"Hey did you choose all those randomly? Those are all my favorites?" He asked squinting his eyes at Liam.

"No I actually asked Harry... I wanted you to enjoy what I brought." He shrugged his shoulders as he pulled a chair out for him.

Zayn smiled brightly. He felt like he was in an alternate universe. This was a side of Liam he had rarely seen and he was growing rather fond of it. "You actually had another conversation with him... wow impressive." He laughed taking his seat being pushed in.
