Gasping awake, Imani looked frantically around in fear, gasping once again when she sees her new family, dead. The last thing she remember is Esther crying and this pain in her neck. Reaching up to her neck, Imani frowns. There's nothing there.

"You must be thirsty," Esther comes into the room, a gauntlet in hand, the same gauntlet that held the Petrova blood. "Here, drink."

Taking a sip was the worst thing Imani could have done. She felt this new euphoric feeling, like when she used magic, but stronger. Like whatever ale her father drank but worse. "What is that?" Then suddenly a pain erupted in her mouth. "Ahh!" She chokes out as she opens her mouth, showing her mother in law her brand new elongated teeth.

"Just a drink." How could Esther tell her daughter in law it was blood? The blood of a now dead young mother that her family had killed. How could she tell her that she is no longer who she once was? Esther only hopes that her children forgive her for giving them protection against everything.

"Imani," Niklaus gasps awake beside his wife.

Imani reaches beside her, grabbing her husbands face in shock. He was dead. How is he alive? "Niklaus? H-how?" Imani stuttered.

"Niklaus, drink," Esther forces the gauntlet into her sons mouth, smiling when he takes a drink as well.

He groans in pain, opening his mouth as veins pop stretch under his eyes, whimpering as he watches his wife back up in fear. "What-what's happening to me?" Esther doesn't answer as one by one the rest of her children gasp awake and face the same worry.
