I laid on my stomach as I flicked through the pages of my new book I bought, Layla, the innocent girl fell in love with Daniel, the bad boy, but he doesn't know because he's the player around school, I brought the book closer to my face as I studied the words closely, this was intriguing before I could get carried away, I brought myself to a halt remembering that Isa was still going to come over, I couldn't have my room dirty

I picked up the pile of clothes and separated them into undergarments and actual clothes, I placed my undergarments in one of my many drawers and closed my bathroom door, with a sigh I laid down on my carpeted floor and thought back to that phone call with Steph, stuff has been different between us, I just don't know how to explain it

Thoughts ran through my head, the stress off living with someone I possibly don't know at all the thought of possibly living with someone bossy, oh was there so many possibilities

I jogged downstairs and put on my light blue crocs, actually in love with them, I then walked into the kitchen and sat on the stool

"Ma, dad, I'm going to the shops" I clarified as I pulled out a five-pound note from the cash jar

"Take out another 10, we need stock cubes, and beef patties" Mum added another £10 into my hands and kissed my knuckles

"Be careful baby" I gave them both a kiss on the cheek and walked out the door

The warm breeze took me over and I couldn't help but smile, oh was it nice to be outside, the sun was slowly setting and the leaves on the trees were blooming a luminous red, it made everything brighter, I watched as kids drew with their colorful charcoal on their drive way, and the kids playing with skipping ropes, I watched as Stacy and Liam hugged, what a cute couple they could be if they believed in it

"Hey Stace" I gave her a small smile which she returned

"Yo Nat" Liam waved causing my smile to bloom bigger

My pace slowly quickened which turned into a small jog, the wind blew my hair back, but it was a nice feeling, and then I stopped

Not on instincts

I felt as if I was floating

"Ow" I rubbed my elbows and looked up slowly

His face was stone cold, but his eyes showed a bit of concern

"Hi" I smiled as I dusted myself off "I'm Natalie, but friends call me Nat, not saying that we're friends yet but we can be" I blabbered on and held my hand out

I looked up to see him walk right past me

Rude

I watched as his back muscles moved to every step he took, then remembered that I had a boyfriend, nowhere as good as him but I still love him dearly

I continued my jog until I made it to the shop, I walked down the aisle and collected some stock cubes and four 8 packs of beef patties

Once I had the things that ma requested, I walked over to the snack aisle and grabbed 2 packets of popcorn, tom and jerry ice cream, crisps and drinks

Now satisfied with my food choices, I walked over to self-checkout and bought everything necessary

I hummed songs as I walked back home, and oh boy was it dark outside, I quickened my pace but soon realized that the bags were dragging me down

How fun

My legs soon grew tired, and so did my arms, I barely even bought anything and my jelly like arms couldn't hold anything

Maybe that's why no one trusts me with valuable stuff

I felt my heartbeat accelerate and my breathing came out in small hoarse puffs, I definitely forgot to take my pills

I looked behind me and then Infront of me, and then behind me again, a tall dark figure approached me causing me to tilt my head to the side, maybe he's hurt

He towered me tremendously, another dude who towered over me, how fun

"Excuse me, are you hurt?" I asked slowly placing my bags down

He shook his head slowly and whilst he did, I realized who he really was, he's the dude I accidentally bumped into on the way to the shops

"It's you" I exclaimed "You never shook my hand you know, you could've just said no to friends, anyways what brings you here" I looked down at my watch and gasped

I held my breath and coughed loudly, it was dry, I soon realized I also forgot to drink a bottle of water, how fun

"I should've been home 30 minutes ago" I breathed out, I quickly picked up my bags and started to walk

I stopped quickly and turned face mystery guy

"That gave me ultimate deja vù" I giggled "Are you coming or what?" I asked

In one swoop my bags were in his hand, and he gestured with his head for me to lead the way

The relief I got in my arms and hands were beautiful, his long strides were no match to my short ones, I practically had to jog to catch up with his, which wasn't very fun per se

"Hey" I placed my hand on his bicep and took in a large breath

"Carry on walking" I said after a few seconds "Or should I say running" I muttered

A deep chuckle made my head jolt up, I just made him chuckle, if only I saw it

"I'm going to college in a few, you know Labdon college, that one, I'm getting a dorm and everything, but I have to share and I'm kind of scared" My hands shook ever so slightly as a huge gust of wind took me over

"Oh, we're home" I had sung quietly, skipping up the 4 steps of the porch "You coming in?" I asked with a head tilt

He shook his head ever so slightly and placed the bags gently in my hands, I turned around unlocked the door, turned around again

To see him gone

Now to deal with my families troubled thoughts about me getting kidnapped
