Ok so there isn't gonna be a lot and its also kinda Obvious but here is if the main new Pilots had mentors......
Phoenix: Maverick would mentor her she'd at first be really anxious about it but in the end I feel as if they would grow a father daughter bond as well as a professional one.
Rooster: His is Goose obviously they would probably fight a little but at the end of the day there father son bond would be so much better.
Hangman: Iceman they would probably get in arguments because they are both ego manics but overall Hangmans flying would get better.
Payback: Slider idk they just give me the same vibes.
Bob: Cougar ik he didn't make it to top gun but I feel as if he and Bob would get along well Bob would take him way to seriously tho and be a nervous wreck and Cougar would calm him down.
