You gasp and sit up putting your hand on your chest.
Your heart was pounding.
A knock to your door made jump.
You looked towards the door and see mason.
"What the fuck" you say under your breath.
Mason enters your room.
"Mom wanted me to wake you up so you can help us in the kitchen"
You looked at him as if he wasn't real.
"Y/n are you okay?"
he asks sitting at the end of your bed.
You pick up your phone to see the time an date,
December 25th
9:30am
You put your phone down and answer masons question.
"I don't know" you say with a little laugh.
"I had the most fucked up dream..it felt so real..it's actually making me question shit"
"What was it about" mason asks.
You take a deep breath and explain about what had happened.
"Shit that is messed up" mason says.
You nod.
"Maybe you had that dream because our scared of dads reaction to yours and toms relationship..but if something did happen like that you know I wouldn't of sat there and let dad start shit and with Noah i would of killed him"
You smile at mason and nod.
Mason takes your hand.
You thought he was going to say something sweet but no he stands up and pulls you out of bed.
"Mason!"
Mason laughs.
"Come on woman time to move your ass down stairs"
You steady yourself and move your hand from masons.
"I could of been naked yknow"
"You forget I walked in on you and Adam when you were teenagers"
You cringed at the memory.
Adam was your first proper boyfriend.
"Don't remind me about that"

You spent a few hours helping in the kitchen and helped Scarlett and Ellie put up some more Christmas decorations.
After that you sat down to relax with a bunch of snacks.
"Don't fill yourself up too much" your mother says.
"Yes I know"
Your phone buzzes and it's a text from tom

Tom
Hi darling just texting to let yo know that i'm on my way.
I cant wait to see you xx

You smile at your phone before replying back to him saying that you cant wait to see him too.
You put your phone down and stared at the door.
What if that dream was real and I'm actually dreaming.
You picked up your phone and searched about realistic dreams.
Thats when you saw a thing called lucid dreaming.
You read an article about it which put your mind to rest since there were comments under the article from people saying how they felt after having a lucid dream and it was the same how you felt.
Apparently the feeling should go in a day depending on the type of dream you had.
Mason sits down on the opposite  sofa with two controllers in his hand.
"Wanna play"
You shake your head.
"Nah i should go get dressed"
Mason steals some food off you.
"Oi get your own"
"Mom has hid the snacks..why do you need to get dressed, on Christmas you normally spend all day in your pj's"
You get up off the sofa.
"Tom will be here soon and i don't want to look like a homeless person"
"Ah fair enough" mason says.
You go upstairs and pick something to wear.
You take your time in getting ready so by the time your almost done with your hair he door goes.
"Door" mason shouts.
"Mason i'm busy get the door" you mother says.
"Im in a race theres no way im getting up"
Ellie comes out of her room and goes down stairs.
"I'll get it" she says.
You carry on with doing your hair.
"Uh hi"
"Hi I'm tom"
"Okay? Im ellie that doesn't help why a random man is at my door"
There's laughter.
"Is y/n here? Or have i got the wrong house"
"Yeaaah you've got the wrong house goodbye"
The door slams and you then realise what ellie just said.
Shit
You get up and rush down stairs.
"What the hell ellie" you say heading towards the door.
"What? A really attractive male asked for you which is really weird..he could be some next spy who is plotting to kill you or sell you on the black Market"
You roll your eyes.
"You've been watching too many messed up movies..that was my boyfriend"
"Your what! Why am i just haring about this"
"I will explain but no right now"
You open the door and see tom getting back into his car.
You run out and shout for him.
He gets back out of his car.
"Y/n..god i thought i had the wrong house"
"No my sister was just being a dick" you laugh.
Tom wraps his arms around your waist and you put your arms around his neck and kiss him.
"Ive missed you" you say smiling.
"Ive missed you too"
You take his hand "come on lets go in my feet are freezing"
Tom looks down and you don't have any shoes on.
Without warning he picks you up and you wrap your legs around his waist.
"Better?"
You giggle "yes"
Tom takes you both inside after locking his car.
When you get inside your mom is putting the food on the table.
She stops what shes doing and stares t you and tom.
Tom puts you down and you turn around to face your mother.
"This must be tom" she says.
"Yes" he says putting out his hand for her to shake.
She lightly moves his hand and hugs him.
I'm slightly stiffens at the hug but then relaxes a bit.
After you mother hugs him she feels his biceps.
Your eyes widen.
Slowly remove your hands off him or you'll be joining your mom and dad 6 feet under
"Oh someone works out" she says smiling.
Tom lets out an awkward laugh.
"Your just in time I'm plating up food"
Tom nods "do you need any help" he says.
"No no you take a seat at the table you're our guest.
"Mason off the game now"
"Prick" mason shouts at the tv.
Mason looks up and notices tom and then puts the controller down and gets up.
He looks at you and back at tom.
"I'm mason her older brother"
"Nice to meet you"
"You too mate"
Mason and tom shake hands and tom sits down at the table so do you until you're called into the kitchen.
"Fuck sake..ill be back" you tell tom.
"Alright darling"
You follow mason into the kitchen.
Your mother is smiling.
"Whats with the creepy smile mother" you ask
"Y/n he's Gorgeous" she says.
"Watch out sis wouldn't surprise me is mom tires stealing him off you"
She best not
