"I have hidden talents you do not know"

"Enlighten me"

"I can do a pirouette"

"Liar", she snorts

"I am not, I can do a pirouette"

"Show me then.
There's no way you can do a pirouette"

"Here?", I ask waving around the kitchen

"Yes, here. Prove me wrong"

Belle never learns. She is always daring me and I always prove her wrong. I might as well get something from it

"And what do I get?"

"Must everything come with a price?"

"Yes, it does. You're doubting me, my ego's hurt so when I do the pirouette- I get something from you"

"If you do the pirouette; which you can't"

"Mhm...
If you say so. Okay, if I do it, what do I get?"

"Anything you want"

"I'm counting on your word. Anything I want?"

"Yes, anything you want"

I walk to the far end of the counter and extend my arms out

She lets out a snicker

"You won't be laughing when I land the pirouette"

"Yeah, sure", she snorts

I stand on the tip of my toes, extending the other out

I then bring my arms together circle like
and whirl around twice on my toe, timing it perfectly and landing perfect three sixty degrees and I end with my foot touching my supporting leg's knee

I send her a smirk, raising an eyebrow at her, my heart beating rapidly against my chest

The adrenaline rushing through me reminds me of how long I've practiced ballet and how unfit I am

"You were saying?"

Then she does something I don't expect, she starts clapping

"When did you learn to do that and how?"

A blush rises to my cheeks at the shocked expression on her face and remembering the memory makes me smile

"In middle school, I had my first crush on this girl. All the guys in my class liked her and I wanted to impress her so I joined ballet"

Laughter erupts out of her and even though I don't want to seem like a creep, I stare at her in admiration at the smile lightening up her face making her skin glow in the morning light, my sweater looking a little big on her, and her hair in tangles. It strikes me-in a good way to know she feels comfortable with me

"She was in ballet so I figured if I could impress her with a thing or two about it, she would like me"

"Cute"

"It was childish"
I remember pestering Dad to sign me up for ballet and after learning the basics of ballet standing in front of the class and dancing.
Lucas still teases me to this day and it doesn't help that my crush at that time joined the group of girls that laughed at me when I slipped doing the pirouette
