Mum had gone to the hospital after watching movies the whole morning
Brandon was having his supposed beauty sleep and I was getting ready to go babysit Ellie
When I tell Brandon where I am going, he hurls a pillow at me. Annoying brat
I park in front of the house and sigh
I am in a good mood today and not even Blaze is going to spoil it
I knock on the house like the last time and this time Seth answers the door
"Hello, he says smiling
Thanks for agreeing to be Ellie's full-time babysitter until her nanny comes back, Ellie loved you the last time you babysat her and she wouldn't stop talking about you"
"It's my pleasure, Ellie is a good kid and I like babysitting her"
Seth looks at his watch. I must be going now
We walk into the living room to see Ellie muttering to herself
Seth walks to the couch and places a kiss on Ellie's head, she waves him goodbye as he leaves
Ellie walks up to me, gives me a scrutinizing look, and drags me upstairs to her room
For a six-year-old, she is energetic. I wonder if Blaze is home. I immediately shove that thought far back in my mind
She leads me to her bed and picks up her school bag that was on her desk table
"I want to show you what I drew at preschool today, Miss Blake said it was beautiful"
"I tried showing it to Blaze yesterday at dinner but he didn't even look at me. Dad and Blaze started yelling at each other after that and Blaze went up to his room and didn't come out the whole evening."
"He doesn't like me"
She gives me a paper with a drawing of a man, a boy, and a little girl. It was decent for a six-year-old
"This is my dad,Blaze and I", she says pointing to each drawing
Ellie frowns slightly.
"Belle, where is my mum?"
Ellie decided that she was going to start calling me Belle because of the Beauty and the Beast movie
I am speechless and I don't know how to answer that question. What do I tell her?
"Sophie has a mum and she always says her mum loves her very much. Daddy says mummy is in a better place but I want her here so that she can love me like how Sophie's mum loves her
Her eyes fill with unshed tears and I start tearing up myself"
"Ellie, look at me
Your mummy loves you so much and even though she isn't her, she cares about you"
I take out a paper and pencil from the small desk and hand it out to Ellie. What is your favorite thing in the whole world, I ask
"Strawberry ice cream", she replies with a smile. I chuckle
"What else?"
"Butterflies, I love butterflies"
"I want you to draw the butterfly on this paper, then you can show it to Sophie and Miss Blake tomorrow, how about that"
She smiles and nods sitting at her desk.
"Ellie, I'll be back", I say to her
I need to go to the bathroom and I am glad I took Ellie's mind off that topic
I find the bathroom and close
the door behind me
In front of me is Lucas; that is Blaze's friend– Lucas with his pants down and his hand on his boxer briefs about to pull them down
We look at each other with our mouths both open and begin screaming
Why the hell are you screaming, my conscience states
Yeah, why am I screaming?
Lucas hurls a comb at me, I dodge it to see a toothpaste coming directly towards my face
"Who the hell are you?", Lucas yells throwing a soap dispenser at me
Blaze and Addison barge in at the same time looking between us with eyes wide open
"I know I'm hot and all but you don't need to be a crazy fangirl to watch me piss. That's weird", Lucas says
Fangirl? Watch him pee?
I snort out loud. "You wish, your big ego needs a reduction, and anyways who would ever want to watch you pee"
"You sneaked in to watch me pee and-
"Raise your pants, Lucas, this whole situation is already uncomfortable and weird", Addison speaks
She has an amused smile on her face whilst Blaze has a scowl on his face
Is scowling the only facial expression he can make
"She is Ellie's babysitter", Blaze mumbles
"Why did she sneak in to watch me pee then"
"I came into the bathroom to do what humans do...pee, how would I have known you were here"
"Yeah, sure...",Lucas replies
"Hi, I'm Addison, Addison says and sorry for him", she continues pointing to Lucas
It still baffles me how he and I are friends"
"You look familiar, do you go to Lakeridge school, she asks facing me"
"Yes, I do"
"I am right, she is one of my fangirls", Lucas shrieks
"Will you quit it with this delusion of having fangirls, you aren't a celebrity", Addison yells
"Are you jealous"
"Yeah, you would want that, wouldn't you"
"Would you two quit it, I visit the bathroom alone, only me, and been here with all of you is weird", Blaze says and walks out
I walk out after Blaze, I don't even want to pee anymore
I walk back to Ellie's room to see her shading the wings of her butterfly with a small on her face
"Where is my little potato", Lucas yells barging into the room
Ellie screams and runs to him, he picks Ellie up and they look so cute
I am tempted to take a picture of them
Ellie keeps blabbering to him about what happened in school and what Sophie did
"Lukey, can we go for ice cream", Ellie says pouting
"Of course, anything for my little potato"
I cough interrupting them, hello am I invisible
"Of course not Ellie, you still have homework to do"
"Party pooper", Lucas mutters
"Please", Ellie pleads with a pout
"Fine but I'm coming with you. I am still babysitting you"
"Or maybe it's because your plan of watching me pee didn't work so now you want to hang out with me", Lucas says
"Lucas, shut up before I change my mind"
"Lukey", Ellie whines
"My lips are sealed". Got it, not another word
