I stare at the trees. They don't have a care in the world.

Of course, there are a few things they should worry about, but it doesn't really matter to them.

As I stare at a particular birch, I hear snapping twigs and voices talking.

I narrow my eyes.

Do these people now that this is forbidden grounds? Even I don't speak so loud. Do they have a death wish?

As I wonder why on earth they dare do such nonsense, I scale the birch tree I stared at before. It wasn't difficult.

Them talking could lead to big devastation. The more they talk, the more attention brought by the manor.

The king would then send his knights to capture them, followed by a possible execution, and I would have to do it.

At the moment, I didn't want to do anything but starve and die.

Maybe that's best for me now...
