Sai walked down on the narrow muddy path with flash light in her hand. In the dark path she looked up to the moon then to the man standing in align to the moonlight alongside the lake. With hands stuffed in his trousers' pockets Virat was looking at the reflection of stars in the water of lake while waiting for the Sirius star (brightest star in the night sky) of his life.

"Sir" Sai called

"Virat Sir bolo na!" Virat turned to her

"Haan?"

"I just realised this is what I was missing for so many days; hearing my name from you" he mesmerisingly said

"You have called me here just to hear your name?" She irked

"What if I say yes?" He teasingly said

"You will be thrown to check the temperature of the water!" She roughly said

"Go on! I was missing these taunts too"

"Are you out of your mind? We decided not to meet. Why are you doing this?" She scolded while he kept looking at her with broadest smile on his face

"Anyway, I seriously don't have time to waste!" She turned to leave

"No please No!!!!!!" He ran to stand in front of him

"What do you want, Virat sir?" She calmly asked

"I don't know. I don't know anything. All I know is you please don't go away from my life" he took her hand into his

"I told you I don't want to play friendship games with you!" she stated

"Okay! Wait a second" he hurried to the road side leaving Sai confusingly clueless.

She had no idea of what he was thinking. She was somewhere scared to let her heartily feelings once again be blown up in the play of his words. He came back after few minutes. She could see him hiding something in the back of his hands. While colourful ballons were popping up his head. And next second he was on his knees.

"I might be the only man in the world proposing a girl, sorry, responding to her proposal with these ice cream cones and candy floss. . . At this time, please accept these as my token of love and let me admit that I love you, Sai Joshi" he confessed by offering ice cream cone in one hand and candy floss and ballons in the other.

"Give me one chance I assure you will not regret" he sweetly requested. She kept looking at him trying to make herself believe what he was hearing was right, her eyes and ears were not playing with her. She literally slapped herself to wake her from her daydreaming.

"It's not dream. I am actually here. Will you answer or else these ice-creams will once again melt in my hands" he made an innocent face

"No number of ice-creams can melt if you are faster to finish them all before melting point" she said by snatching ice creams, candy floss and ballons from his hands.

"But you won't be getting any of these as your punishment!" she said gesturing him to hold ballons for her so she can enjoy her icecreams.

"All yours including me" he flirted. She laughed at his cheesy line. He too laughed with her.

"I love you too, Virat Sir" she softly said in between

"But from here it will be only serious for me" she said with moistness in her eyes

"I want that as well" he pulled her for a gentle hug while a tear dropped down from the eye on the heart side.

"Can I go back home now otherwise these mosquitoes will take me with them!" Sai cutely complained
