I didn't come out the next day. Let's say I had fallen into myself. I was distraught. Nobody had seen me, my mascara ran down my face as I cried. Tissues everywhere. Chocolate wrappers scattered all over the floor, like it was the Atlantic. I didn't go to any DA meetings. Nor did i care anymore.

I can't believe someone I had fallen for,betrayed me. And I had fallen into the shadows again. And don't plan on coming out. I was eating some chocolate when I saw Hermione burst into the door

'That's it. I can't have you like this' she demanded

'You don't get it, Hermione.' My voice cracked

I finally told her everything.

'Look...Malfoy, will be Malfoy. You know how he is. He might seem like a gentleman, but in reality. He's a backstabber' Hermione sat down on my bed

She was right.

'But you don't get it, Hermione. Have you ever had anyone hurt you as much as this?!' I asked

She remained silent.

'No, but I know you going like this isn't good either. You have to come out. Show everyone what Malfoy is missing' Hermione smiled

'Yeah, it's not as easy' i bowed my head

My hair was knotted, eye-bags under my eyes.

'You can't let Malfoy make you feel this way. I've never seen you so...sad' Hermione admitted

'That's what love does, Mione' I said in the verge of tears

'Funny enough, Malfoy hasn't been out of his room in a while, I overheard Parkinson talking about it. But when I get the chance I will avada kedavra him' she laughed

I laughed slightly

'What do I do? I have no motive anymore. He's totally ruined everything' I commented

'Well, maybe go for someone new.' Hermione suggested

'Nobody makes me feel like Malfoy, if I was with another person, it will feel...unconnected' I sighed

'Well you don't know until you've tried' Hermione states

She was right.

'Hermione, I'm so glad I have a friend like you' I smiled

I can't believe I'm being like this. I'm not a emotional wreck over a playboy. Me and Hermione shared a hug. And I'll wait u til tomorrow.

Yes tomorrow came. I got up early before anyone else. And looked at myself I. The bathroom. Oh gosh. I first wiped my mascara off and washed my face doing a skincare routine. Hopped in the shower. And only a tiny bit of makeup. Lipgloss and, I was basically done. I brushed my teeth. My curls as bouncy as ever. I got out and walked to get my robes on. Got my books. And did reverse eyeliner to bring out my eyes.

'That's the Nora I know' Hermione smirked

We both went down to breakfast. I felt everyone's eyes on me. I sat down at my usual spot

'Evanora..are you okay?' Prongs asked

'Never better' I smiled

'You know, I was starting to miss you' Freddie nudged me

'I know' I smiled

'Is this a new Evanora now?' George asked

I nodded smiling. I looked at Hermione who was looking elsewhere, I followed her gaze to Malfoy over on the Slytherin table. We caught eyes, but I gave a dirty look and turned away.
