The new school year had begun, and just like every single year before there was a flurry of activity on the train as new kids, and old friends climbed aboard the train. As everyone was running around, there I sat in a compartment all by myself, content. I never had a friend, I was the black sheep quite literally. My name is Cassidy Black, the daughter of the one and only Sirius Black. Sirius Black was the only one of our family gene that got placed into Gryffindor, I unlike him was placed into Slytherin. I was cast out from my family before I was ever born, the decision was made when my father was, so I had none. Everyone believes my father betrayed his best friend, whom I called Uncle James. Everyone also believes that all Slytherins are evil, so I must be the worst of the bunch.

This was something I had finally come to accept during my second year of school. So now I live my life by myself, yeah it gets lonely sometimes but it's better than attempting to befriend someone just for them to run off at just the mention of your last name. Not to mention everyone believes me to be strange. The random space offs that I'll get in the middle of class, the drawings that come with the them, the panic attacks in the middle of the night. But that is a highly kept secret between the teachers and myself. I'm a seer, I've always been able to see into the future, but it went haywire when I began to attend school. None of my teacher knew about the ability originally and I got myself detention a multitude of times for not paying attention, and causing a ruckus in class. Until Dumbledore decided to attend every single on of my classes without any of us noticing, and it became very apparent to him just what was going on. I remember being so anxious when McGonagall sent me to his office in the middle of class after an owl arrived. It became even worse when I saw my Head of House Professor Snape, standing waiting for me with Dumbledore.

"Please take a seat Miss Black," Snape stated and I quickly sat with worried eyes, "Don't worry you're not in trouble,"

"Then why am I here?" I questioned looking back and forth between the two.

"We're here to discuss your abilities Miss Black," Dumbledore said.

"And as to why you never informed us of them," Snape stated next.

"I don't know what you're talking about," I weakly said as I curled into myself.

"You're a seer Miss Black, that is the reason for you spacing out in class isn't it?" Dumbledore questioned as he went through different pieces of parchment. I stayed silent, "And all of these pictures are quite detailed, do you know who any of these people are?" and showed me a picture of a group of people that looked to be pulling a prank.

"No Sir," I whispered

"What has you so scared?" Snape questioned, "You can trust us,"

"I was told to trust no one," I said looking at him.

"By who?" He questioned.

"My Father, and my aunt and uncle," I stated.

"Your Aunt and Uncle?" Snape questioned with confusion in his eyes. If there was one thing all of the teachers were aware of was the fact that I had no family.

"Can  you explain?" Snape questioned as he sat down in front of me, "Such as who is your Aunt and Uncle?"

"Aunt Lily and Uncle James," I stated looking forward at him.

"So during the War," Dumbledore hummed, "During that time it did make sense, but here at Hogwarts you are safe. Voldemort is gone there is nothing to fear,"

"The day that mans body is shown to me, is the day that I will believe that," I stated looking at him. He nodded with a face of contemplation on him, "But, I do trust you two,"
