There is always a calm before the storm

Hello guys. I decided to take another study break so here's another chapter I ain't gonna lie it's a bit short. Thanks for reading :).

But love was a storm she wasnt ready
and as they lay staring at the stars his heart was heavy
He looked at her and said there is always a calm before the storm....

"Yeah that girl gave a line up. Peak alie." Lisa said popping the gum in her mouth obnoxiously. Lisa was a very loud Nigerian and Jamaican girl who automatically clicked with Asia. It was free period and Lisa had dragged Asia into the dreaded common room threatening to tell Ethan her feelings if she didn't come. The rest of Asia's squad were spread across the room and Asia and Lisa sat in a corner, coincidently adjacent from Ethan and his squad, unknown to Asia.
"Naah. Shariah doesn't look like the type. How do you know?" Asia asked shaking her head in disbelief. Shariah wasn't someone Asia considered a friend, more like an acquaintance. Not a friend but she still cared for her. Asia did not believe Shariah would indulge in something so degrading and subject her dignity for the pleasure of boys she didn't even know. So she didn't like hearing people dragging her name for filth. *AN: no offence to any girls who do stuff like that. Gurrl I ain't judging.
"Obviously you know Kwame and them man jam with her and her squad. Well basically Shariah's friend Chanelle exposed her in front of all the mandem in the LRC and Kwame was there so he told me."
"Wow. She looks bare innocent. I wouldn't expect it."
"Hmm you wouldn't even know what happens in this school and I swear Chanelle is so snaky." Lisa said shaking her head. Chanelle went to Asia's previous school and always conveyed herself as a sweet humble girl. She was the definition of stunning, all the boys wanted her. It was sad to her that sixth form had changed her and made her into a snaky bitch. Chanelle was never like that in high school and they had only been in sixth form for a half term. It was too early for people to be changing. Asia shook her head. She was disappointed in her. Chanelle and Asia had been very good friends.

"Hmmm."

Ethan sat on the table as him and the mandem were just bussing joke. But his attention was diverted, he couldn't help but stare at Asia as she and Lisa were talking animatedly.
" Pree Ethan famm." Issac a huge guy said laughing.
Ethan tried to sly divert his gaze to the bulletin board so it could look like he was reading the exam timetable. At least he would have an alibi. But it was too late, his hyena-like friends were laughing hard at the fact that he was staring hard at a girl who barely acknowledged his existence.

Asia looked up startled at the sudden uproar that came from the boys whilst Lisa screwed her best friend. Lisa had know the boys since year 7, and was used to their idiotic behaviour. It wasn't everyday. Lisa couldn't help but roll her eyes no matter how contagious Issac's laughing was.

"Why is this goat looking at me?" Issac muttered causing all the boys to laugh but Lisa heard.

"Are you dumb Issac?" she said bouncing up from her seat with a slight smirk on her face. Lisa was adamant on teaching him a lesson, it was quite obvious that Issac and Lisa had feelings for each other. They both took the opportunity to piss each other off just to be close to each other.

Asia laughed at her hyper friend, she knew the power of her mouth and knew Issac was in for an ear full.

"Yeah she's such a bitch. She knows how I feel about her but she treats me like a fuckboy. So fucking rude. She even called me a fuckboy. Can't believe I like the bitch." Maison said spitefully, his face screwed up reliving their previous encounter.
" Even if she doesn't have feelings for you she should at least be understanding and at least try to be a friend. Wow. What a bitch." Shariah said shaking her head. She attempted to keep a neutral expression, a poker face, but still a slight smirk emerged on her face. She had finally found someone with a vendetta against Asia. However the person happened to be a fuckboy. It took everything in her not to roll her eyes as he opened his mouth to speak.

"I mean I can't believe she didn't reply to my messages." This time Shariah couldn't help screwing her face, as the revolting mist from Maison's smelly mouth hit her face and caused stinging in her eyes. Common toothpaste and mouthwash he didn't know how to use. No wonder Asia didn't like him, Shariah thought to herself.

"Oh and Ethan. Some useless prick, I wonder what she sees in him?" He murmured. Shariah's ears perked up. Say what now? Shariah was aware that Ethan had feelings for Asia but if she had feelings for him it wouldn't be long until they became a couple. Shit.
" Wow. She likes Ethan? How do you know?" She spoke slowly in a way that would not depict her anger.

" She told me."

"That bitch. Naah she can't treat you like that Maison we need to do something. Stop them from getting together."

" Like what?"

" I don't know I'll figure it out. Just make sure you two are friends again."

King looked at Asia. Damn. She was beautiful. If only there was a way for him to slide into the DMs....but Ethan his best friend, his brother was after her. He couldn't go there, he knew it but this didn't stop his desires...there was just something so enticing about her. No one knew but he clocked her first. On the taster day he was with Shamar when he clocked her. Immediately he knew that if she came in September he would secure her. But it was too late. She lived in his area and they hopped the same bus so even if they weren't in the same lessons he saw her everyday. He didn't know if she noticed but he would pree her every morning. He had a faithful girlfriend but he wanted something she wasn't giving him and no it wasn't sex. Something different.

"Ayy famm my nigga sliding into the DMs." Kwame said. King and the squad turned and looked at Ethan how was now sitting with Asia who was giggling shyly.

"Man like Ethan." Kwame shouted gaining Asia's attention. She looked up and Kwame winked at her causing her to smile shyly and turn her attention back to Ethan. King smiled. She was such a mystery and if anything he was ready to move like Scoobydoo and uncover that mystery.

Yooo the calm before the storm and I ain't gonna lie the storm is soooo deadly.
