Over the next couple days, Lily and Marisol packed up their old apartment, stopped by their old station to say hello and goodbye, and then after 3 days in Italy the girls were headed back to the airport to go home.

The girls were sitting in the back talking while they were being driven to their plane. "So you didn't end up telling Kelly?"

"No. I feel like I need to do this in person. Telling him over the phone last night felt so wrong." Lily was nervously playing with her hands in her lap.

Marisol reached over and placed one of her hands over Lily's fidgeting ones. "Everything is going to be okay. Kelly and you are soulmates. You guys will always be together and he is not going anywhere."

Lily tried to take comfort in what Marisol was saying. "It just feels like anytime something good happens in my life, something else immediately goes terribly wrong."

"Lily you can't think like that. Sometimes bad things happen. It makes us who we are and helps us enjoy the good moments that happen in our lives."

Lily nods her head and then looks out the window and sees the Jet sitting on the runway. "I hope this flight is nothing like the flight here."

"It'll be okay." Their SUV came to a stop. "Come on mama let's go."

Lily and Marisol got out the car and headed for the steps up to the jet. Shane was waiting for them and greeted them as they approached. "Morning Ladies."

"Morning Shane." Both girls said as they boarded the plane. Shane followed them up the steps and headed for the pilots seat. Marisol and Lily both take their seats and Lily mentally prepares herself to relive their previous flight.

Marisol could see her best friend was stressing so she decided to try and distract her. "At least we found all Victoria's old baby items and packed them up to be sent home."

Lily laughed. "We have pink for days if I'm pregnant with another girl."

Shane hadn't even taken off yet and all of the color suddenly drains from Lily's face. "Lil you okay?" Marisol was getting ready to tell Shane not to take off yet until she heard what Lily said next.

"We sent those boxes back to Chicago two days ago. What if Kelly opens them? Then he's gonna figure it out."

Marisol looked at her best friend in disbelief. "Really Lily? That's what caused you to turn white as a ghost?"

"Yes!"

Marisol shakes her head and laughs. "One the boxes probably aren't even there yet. Two Kelly is at work today so I highly doubt he would of had time to open any of the boxes. So chill."

"We ready to go Ladies?" Shane shout from his seat.

"Take us home Shane." Marisol was all smiles at thinking of Chicago as her new home. Shane headed down the runway and the girls were off to Chicago.

Everything seemed to be going perfect till about 7 hours into their flight and a wave of nausea hit Lily. Marisol did her best to comfort her and try to make the flight as comfortable as possible.

Kelly had been watching the clock slowly tick by after he had received the text from Lily saying they were headed home. Dawson and Brett walk out onto the apparatus floor carrying a bunch of signs.

"You guys finished?" The paramedics sat the signs down in front of Kelly to allow him to see them. "Perfect."

"When do they land?"

Kelly looked at his watch. "2 hours. We should already be out of service."

Another hour ticked by before they were all able to load up and head to the airport where the girls were flying into. Kelly's leg bounced the whole drive and his guys took notice.

"Lieutenant" Kelly looked over at Cruz who was driving. "Everything is going to be fine."

Kelly nods his head and continues to stare out the windshield of squad 3. They reached their destination and began to setup for the girls too land.

Lily hadn't thrown up in little over an hour as she felt the plane begin it's decent. Marisol had closed the slides on the windows to make the jet darker for Lily to try and sleep.

Shane taxied the plane over to where everyone from 51 was setup. Once he was fully stopped her got up to let the girls off the plane. Marisol purposely held back.

Lily walked to the door and was getting ready to walk down when she saw Squad 3, Truck 81, Engine 51, battalion 25 and ambulance 61 all lined up and there lights going.

Lily began to scan the group noticing they all had signs. Kelly then stepped out from behind Capp and Boden wearing a white button up shirt, a black suite jacket, black slacks, and black shoes.

Lily couldn't help but stare, his shirt had the first couple buttons undone and his jacket hanged open. When Kelly walked towards her, she met him in the middle.

"Kelly what's going on?"

"Lily," Kelly took both of her hands in his "You have made me the luckiest man in the world, you love me at my worst and lift me up when I need it." Lily could already feel the tears starting to sting the corners of her eyes. "I knew we would find our way back to one another as I knew you were the right girl but the timing was wrong. I needed to grow up and realize how much you meant to me."

Kelly let go of one of her hands as he fished something out of pocket. "So" Kelly pulled got down on one knee and pulled out an open ring box. Everyone's signs began to flip as Kelly spoke."Lily Rea Jacob's will you marry me?"

Lily looked at their family and then caught sight of Matt's sigh and it made her smile. "Shay would of said yes for you already."

Lily couldn't help but laugh because she knew that would be exactly what Shay would of done. Lily looked back down at Kelly, smiling. "Of course I'll marry you?"

Kelly jumped up grabbing Lily in a hug and picking her up to spin her around. Everyone from 51 clapped and cheered along with Marisol and Shane who were in the doorway of the plane.

Kelly placed Lily back on the ground and slipped the ring on her finger. Lily was admiring her ring when Kelly noticed she looked pale.

"Hun are you feeling okay?"

Lily locked eyes with Kelly. "Actually no."

Kelly immediately became concerned and turned around. "Brett. Dawson. Grab your jump bag." The girls were getting ready to grab the bag when Lily spoke up.

"Kelly, no stop." Lily got Kelly to look at her. "I have a surprise of my own." Lily took one of Kelly's hands and placed it flat on her stomach. The dads of 51, of course figured it out straight away and they all had beaming smiles.

Kelly looked down at his hand then back up at Lily. "Babe are... are you pregnant?"

Lily nodded her head and immediately felt Kelly picked her up and spinning her around again. He was so overcome with joy he started to shed a few tears. When he sat Lily back down, Kelly bent down in front of her and kissed her stomach. "I love you my little prince or princess."

Lily couldn't help but giggle and then smile. Everyone headed over to give their congratulations and welcome the girls home.
