It's been almost a month since I started working on the fifth floor, and me and Leah have been talking more a lot more.

Mainly at work, or just going over to her place and hanging out.

"Are you doing anything this weekend?" Leah asks as I'm sitting in her office. "Surprisingly, no. I'm totally free." I say since I'm usually always partying on the weekends, but not this weekend.

"Great. We should hang out." She says. "Ok." I nod, agreeing. "At your apartment." She says and I raise my brows. "Why does it have to be my place??" I ask. "Because we always go to mine." She tilts her head.

"I don't wanna hang out at my apartment Leah." I shake my head. "Why not?" She asks. "I have roommates." I shrug. "So?" She says.

"Are you embarrassed by me?" She asks. "No-. I'm embarrassed by them." I say bluntly. "It'll be fine." She says and I roll my eyes.

"You know I don't have to let you come in my apartment.." I say. "But you will." She says straightforward, and kind of demanding. I raise my brows and look at her.

"You're right. Cuz I'm a nice person and all." I brag. "Oh ok. Is that what it is?" She asks. "Yep." I nod and she giggles.

"Ok. Go do your job and I'll see you this weekend." She says and I smile as I stand up.

It's the weekend and Leah is coming over in about an hour. Luckily I persuaded everyone to get out of the house for today. Jules is hanging out with Ethan, and Monty and Ant are at some party that's gonna last a while. So all that is handled, except the apartment itself. It doesn't matter how much I clean it, it just has that rustic and edgy look in general.

I'm not embarrassed about how or where I live, but it's different with Leah. After seeing her house, I just don't want her to be uncomfortable or look at me differently. Like I've said before, the way she knows me is not even how I really am. She's barely even had a conversation with the real Jennifer. Ew, lemme stop talking in third person. But you get what I mean.

I finish getting dressed, then I look around the apartment to make sure everything looks okay. I picked up all the empty beer bottles and trash earlier so there's nothing laying around. But that's when I realize the big ass bong on the coffee table, with a rolling tray beside it.

I totally overlooked that when I was cleaning since I basically look at it as decorations at this point since it's always there. I grab the bong and put it in the hall closet, then I hide the rolling tray in one of the kitchen cabinets.

Suddenly I hear a knock at the door. My head turns immediately, and I walk over to the door. I take a deep breath before opening it and seeing Leah standing there. "Hi!" I say sweetly and she smiles. "Hey." She says and gives me a hug.

We pull away and we kind of just stand there. "Are you gonna let me in...?" She asks. "Oh-right! Yes, come in." I say and open the door all the way. She walks in and looks around as I shut the door.

"That's a nice ass couch." She says and points at the couch, mocking what I said the first time I went to her house. "Shutup." I giggle and roll my eyes.

"Make yourself at home." I say a little nervous. "Thankyou." She says and sits on the couch. "You want a drink?" I ask. "Sure." She nods.

I go into the kitchen and grab a cup, getting Leah some water. Once I do, I go back into the living room and see Leah looking at a picture on the wall. It's a picture of me and Ant on the couch, holding up our middle fingers.
