Chapter 26

Grace POV

"Well you showed up" I say

"Yeah why wouldn't I?" Draco asks

"No reason so shall we start?" I ask

"Yup let's get to it" He says

We start walking around the grounds.

"So how are classes going?" I ask

"Pretty good but I practically hate those snotty, Know-It-all Ravenclaws"

"Now that is one thing us Gryffindors and Slytherins can agree on" I say

"Well I can say that while all Slytherins hate Potter they all have to agree your flying is really good"

"Well you have to tell them thank you"

"I will" He says

"I kind of wish that we could have stayed friend" I say

"I mean we could have but once you and Benny found out about my parents I never saw you again"

"Yeah sorry about that"

"Nah we deserved that... can I tell you something"

"Yeah anything"

"Well I don't like being on the dark side with dark parents and my dad-"

"He is a nightmare" I finish

"Yeah" He says laughing

"Do you remember when we were little and we started going through your dad's stuff?" I ask

"Yeah he came in and threatened to end both of our lives" He says

"Thank god our moms were there" I said

"Yeah they ate him alive" He says starting to laugh

We start cracking up, but somebody hears us.

"Who is there" we hear Flitch say

"Oh shit" I say

"What you swear" Draco asks

"Yes well not all the time but-"

"Out of bed, you could get expelled for this" Flitch says

He takes us to Professor Mcgonagall. Who comes out in her night robe.

"Out of bed at this time" Professor Mcgonagall asks

I should have taken the cloak with me. Great Harry is going to find out.

"Professor I am-" I start

"We are both sorry but I forced Grace into a duel using blackmail from when were kids, I take full responsibility" Draco says

I try to act as if that had been the case but can't help looking at him in admiration.

"Grace I wish you would have told us so I will give you both detention and take 50 points from Slyhterin along with 5 from Gryffindor"

"When will we have detention?" I ask

"You will get your letters, now off to bed"

"Thank you Professor" I say walking off with Draco

"Thank you" I say as we get to our split paths

"Well what are friends for" He says

I kiss him on his cheek and quickly walk upstairs to an empty common room. I walk up to my dorm where I find Hermione patiently waiting.

"So how did it go?" Hermione asks

"Well we both got detention"

"Hold on what"

"Yeah well I kissed him on the cheek and we laughed and talked"

"That sounds like a nice evening"

"It was" I say getting into bed after putting my pajamas on.

"Well goodnight" Hermione says

"Night" I say
