My Starry Home

I too, love the night―
It alone is my respite,
My home is far away from here.
In my sleep I travel deeper pending fear,
Least my soul vanishes
Into the starry expanses.
Past Neptune, past Pluto,
Until the sun is but a star among stars
And the Earth with its moon just two specks;
One white, the other blue.
