Gorge Bridge

In defining your grandeur photos fail,
Pictures do not capture
Words fall dismally short.
Feel, breathe and emote
That is what I connote.
A glance down your chasmal depth causes quivers,
Brings about tremors, makes people quake,
Inducing hearts to palpitate,
Looking down toward your river,
Bodies quaver
Knees quiver;
Souls shiver.
Fear is in the deep, in the light and in the night
And standing here, near the edge,
One wonders, should I leap?
