Autumn breezes, rain—
Tree leaves turn brilliant hues
Chill descends from north.
Turtle eggs, sandy
Beaches their lone hatcheries—
Nourishment as prey.
Snow will soon cover
Most of Missouri landscapes
Piling drifts deeply.
Arctic ice melting
While Antarctic snows increase—
Gaia's response.
Man's understanding
Is missing universe's
Primary function.
Amazing— they are
Like apes with jigsaw puzzles,
Ignorant beings.
Yet— they believe that
They are masterminds of their
Own math delusion.
