✨chapter 21~ life is a nightmare✨

*Gavin's Pov*

My nightmares turned out to be my real life.

I had nightmares about Merida. Her being hurt, and unconscious.

Now? I might lose her.

While everyone was asleep in the tiny room at the hospital, I was awake thinking of her. I can't lose her again.

I sighed. But as soon as I did that, Tyler woke up.

"Hey, ty."

"Hey....I can't sleep."

"You too?"

"Yeah. Do you think she'll make it?"

"Of course she will! She's our brave sister. She can handle the toughest situations, trust me."

But I can't trust myself.

He nodded and continued "when is she going to get out?"

"Well, we'll have to ask the doctors about that tomorrow. But for now, you should get some rest. Okay?"

"Okay. But you need some too, you know."

"Of course. I—I'm just..." I started.

"You can't stop thinking about her. Right?"

"Will you two shut your mouths up?" Said mason out of nowhere.

"Your awake?" I asked.

"N-no. I—you woke me up."

"Lair! He couldn't stop thinking about Merida too!" Smirked Tyler.

"No!"

"Lair! I saw your eyes opened 2 seconds ago."

Mason rolled his eyes and rolled to the other side of his bed.

"Guess we're all nervous."

"Try to go back to sleep. We need rest." Said mason quietly.

Yeah, let's try that for the 100th time shall we?

I went to Tyler and gave him a kiss on the forehead "goodnight little bro. Everything will be ok."

He nodded.

I rolled back to my tiny bed....Can't I go and see her?

*the next morning*

I woke up with a headache.

Tyler and mason were awake too.

"Hey! Gavin, you're finally awake. Can we go and see Merida now please?" Asked Tyler.

"Of course we will."

And we went to her room.

I opened the door slowly, trying to be as quiet as possible just in case she was asleep. And for Dylan too of course.

Dylan sat up sat up straight and gave my a short hug.
"How did you sleep?"

"Didn't have much of that. She's asleep?"

"Yeah, well, she actually woke up. She's good, that's what the doctor told me anyway."

"Thank god." Muttered Tyler.

Mason released a sigh.

"When is she allowed to get out of here?" I asked looking at her.

She looked like an Angel when she's asleep.

"Don't know." Dylan replied. His eyes scanned us "where's Draven anyway?"

Shit.

I haven't seen him.

"H-he was with us yesterday night...." Said Tyler with worried eyes.

"Oh no..."

"Did he-"

"Where the hell would he be?!" I shouted.

"Shhhh! We don't need Merida to know about this! She'll kill us all!" Said Dylan.

"Right....right.....where could he freaking be?"

We all turned to look at mason.

"What? Now you all think I'm the 'bad guy'?" He said narrowing his eyes.

"Don't you have any clue about him?"

"That guy could chop my head off if I touched him."

That's right tho....

"Then where could he be?"

"How the hell would I know!" Shouted mason.

Then, merida's eyes popped open.

We all ran to her.

Tyler greeted her with a hug.

"Tyler." She muttered running her fingers through his hair.

"Y-your ok!"

"Of course I am."

I have her a hug, then Dylan hugged her too.

She stopped, looking at mason.

"It's good to see you again." He told her.

She nodded smiling "where's Draven?"

"Oh....umm....h-he went to bring water."

"There's enough water in here." She pointed at the 4 water bottles.

"I-I don't know. He just said he'll get some."

"Okay. Let him come here when he comes back please. I missed him."

"Of course he will." I said licking my lips.

"How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Alive."

Dylan and I exchanged glances.

"I'll go to see Draven." I told them.

"Okay, please don't be late." She answered.

I nodded and went out of the room.

Then, I asked a doctor who was rushing in the hall.

"Hey-ma'am. Have you seen a boy named Draven?"

"Draven zachic?"

I nodded.

"Yeah, follow me."

I followed her to a room. She opened the door and I saw Draven tied to a chair with a gun pointed directly at him.
