I can hear voices around me but I can't open my eyes. My whole body is numb. My mind is blank. What happened to me?

I tried to move my hands. I was able to move a little then suddenly I heard some footsteps coming.

"I think magigising na siya Doc. Nagmove po ang kamay niya." Narinig kung sabi ng boses.

"Keep on monitoring him. Any minute magigising na ulit siya," sabi ng tinawag na Doctor.

Bigla na naman ako nakardam ng pagkaantok kaya tuluyan na naman akong nakatulog at nawala ang mga boses na naririnig.

Hindi ko na pinakinggan ang iba pang sinsabi ng doktor. Ang nasa isip ko lang hindi na ako makakakita. How can I go on with my life? My eyes and hand are so important to me as a Neuro-Surgeon. My passion will die. My dreams will end. Maybe this is the emptiness I felt the moment I woke up.
