I have been running away all my life rather if it's from my mind or the people in my life. I am a 7-year-old girl, I know, deep stuff for a kid. You probably thought I was a nose-picking, bugger-eating, crybaby. I guess I just proved you wrong. HA! Well, if you're wondering who I am running from, I don't really want to talk about it. I just woke up from sleeping in a box in an alleyway, and am not really keen on expressing my feelings about my life right now.

This wasn't like one of those creepy alleys that you usually see in movies. It looks like the best one in this shady part of town. This alley also, fortunately, had cardboard boxes that I could use. How fortunate. *cue eye roll*

I soon could hear people running into the alley I am in. Like seriously, they could have picked another one, but nooooo. They had to pick this one. I peek out of my box to find two men. Well, one man holding a gun, and a "boy" cowering, because of the gun. If I were him I would have taken the gun, and shot the man, but that's just me.

I soon tuned into what they were saying, "Bitch if you don't give me my money I will shoot you." The man holding the gun says. Such foul language, but that's besides the point. I think I should grace them with my presence right about now.

"So... What are you guys doing playing with a gun in an alleyway this fine morning" I said while my voice was dripping with sarcasm. I first looked at the man who was holding the gun, and saw amusement dancing in his eyes. Acting like he forgot all about the man he still has held at gunpoint, but I knew he didn't. I was taught to analyze by my real dad, but that's a story for another time.

When I looked at the man who was at gunpoint he still had fear in his eyes, but relieved at the same time. Why would he feel relieved unless he thinks I'm going to help him out. I hope he knows he looks like an abuser, and I would never help those kinds of people from personal experience.

When he caught me looking at him, he smirked then hid it almost immediately. He soon said with a sickening tone, "Run, little girl, we don't want you to get hurt, now do we?" This just made me mad and feel sick to my stomach.

"First of all, why are you talking when I didn't address you nor want to in the first place. Secondly, who are you calling a little girl when you don't even know me. Better be glad I don't shoot you myself." I said as I rolled my eyes. The dude who was holding the gun chuckled a little bit, but as soon as I looked at him with one of my famous glares he kept quiet. But I can still see some amusement is his eyes. I couldn't get quite a good look at his face yet since it is still a little dark, and it's a little shady where we are. (Pun intended.)

"Close your eyes sweetheart, the next part is a little gory." The guy holding the gun said. I of course rolled my eyes, but didn't fail to close them. I did not want to see the dude put a bullet in the rapist's head. I still jumped when I heard the sound of the gun.

"Well, nice knowing you and your gun. I think it is time for you to take your leave. Would you also dispose of your trash? Yes? Thanks!" I said to the guy who was now putting up his gun. I just turned my back and started to head back to my box.

"Your not going home?" The dude asked me now looking at me with a questioning look. I look back at him. Who is he to question me? Not my father I'll tell you that much.

"Um.... Business? Find yours." I said still heading back to my box. He suddenly jumps ahead of me to block my way in front of my box. "What exactly are you doing Mr.?"

"Williams. My last name is Williams." He says. I seriously don't care though. "I wasn't really looking for an answer. It was rhetorical." I responded. He rolled his eyes. He clearly didn't want to hear my sarcasm.

"So, I'm gonna ask you again. Are you going home?" He asked. I really didn't feel like answering his questions, so I did the next best thing. I ran.

Well. I ran, but not before stealing his wallet.
