I thought last night was a dream.

I don't remember putting a ring on my finger but I woke up wearing one.

Iyon kaagad ang pumukaw sa'kin habang nagsisipilyo. My eyes unknowingly fell on my fingers.

Hinalughog ko ang bag kung saan naaalala ko ang lalagyan ng dating suot. It kind of look similar at some angle. When I finally got a hold of it, I went speechless.

Doon ko lang rin napansin na magkaiba ang desenyo nito sa suot ko ngayon.

Hindi pa kumbinsido na gising ang diwa ko kaya kinurot ko ang sariling kamay. I flinched as I let go of my skin that is now forming a line from my nails.

I thought it was all that I have to overthink that day. Sino nga namang makakahuma agad kung gigising ka isang araw na may panibagong singsing nalang bigla!

Given that I was drunk and can barely even think straight!

Hindi sa ayaw ko... pero dapat sana ay inalok niya 'ko ng matino!

I was more than horrified to see a lot of red spots on my chest and one on my neck that I didn't notice earlier!

Nalaglag ang panga ko sa panibagong nakita. I immediately conditioned myself but aside from that I didn't feel anything but shame... and frustrations for I can't recall how I ended up getting these!

"Good morning, Mama."

Kumunot ang noo ko sa nakita nang makarating sa kusina.

"Good morning. Why are you so dressed up?" May pagtataka akong lumapit kay Las saka humalik rito.

Sumulyap naman sa'kin si Zion na gumagawa ng sandwich at inilalagay sa lunch box. His smirk showed as his eyes landed on me for seconds.

Lascaux directed his eyes to his father. Almost looking like he's asking for permission. Zion nodded, encouraging his son.

"Uncle Marcus wanted to take me with him in the farm. He's going to teach me how to ride a horse! Please, Mama?"

I cocked a brow at him.

It's obvious he didn't want me to think about it thoroughly kaya ngayon niya lang sinabi ang tungkol dito. Para makasama ito.

Iyon nga ang nangyari sa sumunod na minuto. Pinabaunan ko ito ng maraming paalala at halos ayaw ng bitiwan si Las sa nag aantay na si Marcus kahit na alam ko namang kilala ko ang makakasama niya.

There were just things we never knew will happen.

Tulad ngayon. I thought I'll have the bravery to talk about my concern today but as soon as Las went out of the car, the air was filled with silence.

"What..." I cleared my throat when it dries out.

From sitting so comfortably in the driver's seat and constantly tapping his fingers on the wheel lightly, he raised a brow.

Pinilig ko ang ulo.

"What happened?" Was the dumbest question I uttered my whole life.

Hindi pa ba halata ang ebidensya, Belize?

He looked away then bite his lower lips.

"Hmm?" His answer left me dumbfounded.

"Hm? Your 'hm' left some hickeys on my body! You took advantage of me, do you?"

He sure knew how to put marks where nobody would suspect something happened. Given that we were on my parents' territory!
