"Will you run away with me?"
Bumigat ang paghinga ko habang nananatili ang tingin ko sa kanyang mukha. My heartbeat is racing faster every time passing.
How come this guy immediately guess...
"Why do you believe you're right just because you thought you saw something in me?" mahina kong sabi. I drew a deep breath and look up to the sky before I look at him again. My legs felt weak.
"Just like what you've said, it has only been two times. Ito ang pangalawa. You cannot figure me out just by that."
"Am I wrong, then?"
I gasped. There was a very unfamiliar feeling in my heart. Para bang may pumipisil sa puso ko, bago papakawalan, pipisilin ulit at papakawalan. I don't know what was that for but it confuses me more.
"Why are you doing this?" Gulo kong tanong.
How come we're in this kind of atmosphere all of a sudden?
"I don't know. I just watched your back a while and it came out of my mouth."
"Seriously?" reklamo ko sa kanya.
He chuckled. Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin habang nananatili pa rin siyang kampante sa harap ko. I don't like the way he looks too smart and mature for me to handle.
"It was really all of sudden. After all, I just wanna run away, too."
My jaw clenched. "Bakit kita pagkakatiwalaan?"
"Do you even need that?"
I snickered and smirked at him. "Then, this talk is over. Kaya ko nang umuwi mag-isa kaya hindi mo na a－"
"We are both a stranger to each other."
Tumigil ako at lumunok.
"I have no concerns about your businesses. That goes the same to you."
I suspiciously eyed him as he steps beside me. Ngumiti siya saakin.
"Besides, it's quite a nice spot..." he said while looking down at his feet before turning his eyes back on me. He smirked. "Next to you."
I stared at him more intently. I suddenly remember the reason why I was able to tell him the story I never told anyone before.
Because he is a stranger...
Pero noong araw na iyon ay akala ko, hindi na siya babalik pa at dadalahin niya na sa limot ang mga sinabi ko. If he's here again for the second time, is he still a stranger to me?
I don't know... but...
"I know I'm handsome but you don't have to stare －"
I turn my back on him and started walking again, leaving him behind.
"Hey! You're doing it again!"
"Where are you taking me, then?" I asked.
"Wait, what?"
Naramdaman ko ang paghakbang niya sa likod ko kaya kusa kong binagalan ang lakad ko para makapantay siya. This is what he wants right?
Binalik ko ang normal kong bilis sa paglalakad noong nasa tabi ko sa siya.
"Let's run away..." I said and glance at him.
He smirked at me.
"Now, we're talking..."
"Saan tayo pupunta?" tanong ko.
"Wasn't I the first to ask you that? Saan mo gustong pumunta?"
