"Oh, y/n you're back," Clark says; Jon walks up to me and puts his arm around me. I smile and bury my face in his neck, laughing,
" Okay, lovebirds, take it easy," Lois says smiling,
"Sorry, when's dinner?" I ask
"Tonight, oh, and it's also fancy," Lois says
"Tonight! Fancy!" I say, surprised. "What time?" I ask
"9," Conner said
"That's in..." I pull out my phone "5 1/2 hours. Okay...Lois, can I go grocery shopping with you?" I ask. She nodded. Jon whispers in my ear.
"<What are you doing? Our mission isn't Lois; it's Kal-el and Kor-van>," Jon says as he takes his arm off me.
"<I'll be the distraction, I'll see if Jordan can come,>" I whisper back, then I kiss him on the cheek.
"<Ah, good idea, I knew I liked you for a reason, now laugh like I said something funny,>," he says, I obey
"What's so funny?" Jordan asked. I'm still wondering why he looked pissed
"Oh nothing, just an inside joke. Anyways, Jordan, do you want to maybe come with Lois and me?" I ask
"Why would I-," He stops then looks at me than Jon, he gives us a smirk, "You know what...I will," he says, walking up to us, then puts his arm around me,
I look at Jon, I mouth, "For Lex," he still looked pissed, of course, but at least there was hope in his eyes.
"Alright, then it's settled, y/n, Jordan and I will go get groceries while the rest of you clean up," Lois says
"Yes, ma'am," Clark says, they kiss.
"Oh, can I get to pick the desert?" Jordan asks
"No promises, mister," I say; he smiles while rolling his eyes. We say our goodbyes, I whisper to Jon,
"<Are you sure you got this?>" I ask
"<Yes, now go>" I kiss him goodbye, then walk away, Jordan following me behind.
We're in the car, me and Jordan sitting in the back seat,
"So...you and Jon, huh?" Jordan said, he sounded so disappointed, it was pathetic; I can't believe he thought that he and I had a shot,
"Mmh," I say, nodding my head
"Um, I thought that since you had feelings for me that, I don't know you would have told me first, I guess. I don't know, you just started kissing Jon, and when did this start anyway?" Jordan asks
"Why do I need to explain myself to you? Look, your brother and I like each other, okay? And I don't know what you want me to say. I'll break up with him? For you? Like Jordan, you old enough to get over it, I'm Jon's girlfriend, and he is my boyfriend, you got that, I made my choice, so deal with it," I reply; he looked shocked at my response.
"What is wrong with you? Is Jon doing something to you that you can't talk to him? Did he force you?" Jordan asks; I scoff
"Do you realize how pathetic you sound? I'm the one with superpowers, Jon is a regular human being," I say
"So you're saying the only reason you're with him is that he's human," Jordan said
"Oh my god, what is not getting in your head? I love Jon, not because he's human, not because he is forcing me, but because I chose him; all these things you're saying is trying to help scared little boy process that he wasn't the people that I chose,"
