Truth within lies [BakugoKatsukiXBlackReader]

~time skip~

we had just finished a week of written exams, and we would soon be given our physical exam. I found the written exam easy as it was stuff I already knew. And the fact katsuki was smart made it easy enough and made revision more effective. i was finally going to go back home to bird brain. i had been living with katsuki for the past 2 weeks since i was still mad at everyone, including hawks and mirko. I ignored every single hero, except when they were teaching me. I never even responded to their calls or text. I wanted them all to live with the shitty thing they did. But i knew it was time to go home. I couldn't stay at the bakugo's forever, his parents we're came home last week and they have better things to be doing that deal with me. I told katsuki i wanted to walk since he was determined on drooping me off, so him and i walked back to the pent house. as we were walking there was a puppy crossing the road heading toward me,

this is the puppy, its a husky

it had no collar so i thought it was a stray, not only that but something about the dog made me want it, so i dropped the bag and went toward the dog, but then a red car came driving fast, and then.....

blood on my clothes, broken bones pocked out of the puppies legs and as his eyes began to grow lifeless. His blood oozed out his body, creating a pool of his death, dazed I walked over to it and checked its pulse, i looked at the car as bloodied tires began to make a run from the crime they just committed, but i didn't even care at that moment, i picked up the puppy gently, trying to stop his broken bones from causing him more pain. His kneed appeared to have collapsed on themselves as his bone structure became deformed. I lifted the puppy to my chest and ran. i was going to a vet, bakugo got my bag and followed close behind.

"bakugo im going to the vet a mile away, so im about to go at a really fast speed, so ill meet you there, otherwise im afraid the puppy wont make it." bakugo nodded, i then exelerated, in a matter of minutes i made it to the vet, they took the puppy and began an operation, they asked me to fill out some forms in the mean time.

Once i was done, I found myself in the waiting room crying, i dont know why but i feel like im about to loose my best friend. my tatoo/ birth mark stings a bit but eventually goes away, soon bakugo came in, he put my stuff down beside him, i ran over to him and hugged him. he didnt know why i was so emotional, but neither did i. he sat me down, and hugged me as i sat in his lap, the vet soon came out, he told the puppy was now stable, and healing, and that we could see the puppy, we went in the room , the poor thing was surrounded by tubes, i went over and started stroking his head to his back.

"hey buddy, its ok, ive got you." bakugo came over and looked at the dog. he stroked my head and gave me another hug. "im going to kill the people in the red car for doing this to you," i whispered, bakugo heard and looked at me with a hint of fear in his eyes
