"I like your name, Otiti. It sounds so cool" Fade said and Jeremy raised his head from her laps where she was braiding his hair. He had a playful frown on his face and Fade smiled knowing what he would say next.

"Cool kor. Sounds like Titties to me Shaa. Babyyyy show me some titties" Malik Kuti interrupted the conversation and Fade threw her head back in laughter. Jeremy looked between Fade and Malik that was on the floor practicing as a runs girl, he didn't know who to be angry at so he flipped Malik off and he returned to his former position.

"Fade, can we talk outside for a moment please?" Katerina asked and Fade raised her head to look at her. She knew half of the class were watching them and that was exactly why Katerina chose to approach her that way.

"As you can see I'm busy and I don't have any energy left for talking. If you will excuse me now" Fade replied drily before she went back to braiding Jeremy's hair. Kate tutted before turning back on her and walking out of the class. Jeremy raised his head to look at her and Fade ignored his stares. She continued humming while braiding the hair and gradually, the whole attention shifted away from her.

"I thought we agreed that you will give her a listening ear if she comes to talk?" Jeremy whispered and Fade shook her head. She doesn't know why everyone's not getting her. It's one thing for your supposed sister to be angry at you because you ended things with your man and it's another for her to pick him over you and say hurtful shit to your face.

Fade didn't give any reply and Jeremy fell silent. He got the clue that she didn't want to talk about it where the whole class was practically straining their ears to hear whatever they want to say while pretending not to be interested in the conversation.

"Who don hear say senior Tofunmi wan do birthday party and she invite everybody? This time around no invitation card abi gate pass, just dress fine and chop free food" Seyii asked and everyone started talking about the birthday party too.

Senior Tofunmi Okunola is the daughter of senator Michael Okunola and her parties always shook Elite College. It was her twentieth and she already told more than half of the school how amazing it was going to be. Fade has never experienced any of her parties before and she wasn't even looking forward to it.

"Are you going to the party too, you could be my plus one?" Jeremy asked with a pout and Fade laughed. Even if she didn't feel like going, Jeremy has been there for her so many times that she feels like she owes him even if he insists she doesn't.

"I'm not promising to go but I don't feel like going at the moment but maybe later shaa" She replied before pushing his head off her laps because she was done with the braids. He stood up and he dusted the hair particles from his shirt before ruffling the tiny braids to make it look like dread.

"Are you sure you won't get punished for this hair like this?" Fade asked and Jeremy shook his head. He stretched out his hand and he pulled Fade up. He wanted them to take a stroll.

"Happy birthday in advance senior Tofunmi" someone called out and Fade noticed the slim senior walking in. If not for school, senior Tofunmi could be passed up for a Hollywood model. Her uniform skirt looked like it was made for the runway and her shirt was tied in a crop top manner. Her jacket was no where to be found.

"Hello Fadekemi, it's finally nice to meet you in person. I've heard so much about your amazing personality and that's why I've decided to bring you the special card myself. Here's a special invitation to my birthday party and I hope you will come. The party is open to everybody but this card gives you the premium access to the after party and secret fun activities. I hope you make it there, thank you" She stretched the sealed designer envelope towards Fade who accepted it still in shock and she turned around to leave the class.

"Mad oh, Fade get premium invitation to senior Tofunmi party. God when?" Someone shouted from the back of the class and soon everyone was crowding where Fade sat to look at the card and it's content. Fade had a feeling that this party would be the start of something life-changing like a rollercoaster of emotions but nobody knows tomorrow. To feed the curiosity of her classmates, Fade tore the envelope open and she laughed at the way they 'awwned' at the contents. It contained something similar to an ATM card and it had her name printed in gold then a short invitation card with sparkly gold dusts. She knew half of the class was wishing to be in her shoes.

If only she knew that it would be the starting point of something huge in their lives...
