"Guyyyy, she's not even picking my calls. Since like four days ago. She has even blocked me on WhatsApp. I've clarified the whole thing on my IG page and yet she's not understanding. See I'm tired abeg" Demi groaned and Femi stared at him with pity.

It has been long since his best friend ever liked anyone and now the show messed up everything for him. If not that he was super close to Demi, he would have thought that they were in a relationship.

All attempt to reach out to Fade had been futile, they went to her house two days ago and she locked herself in. They kept on knocking her door and she didn't even answer. They stayed for like three hours joking around and hoping she would come down, she didn't.

"See guy, I don wash my hand commot for anything wey consign relationship and all this mumu love. Abeg na physics exam I get tomorrow morning and I never read shishi" Demi said before walking to his nightstand and he pulled out his physics textbook. Femi opened his physics textbook on the bed and they both started reading leaving the room silent.

Monday Afternoon
Elite College, Lagos.

Demi looked around the garden and he saw few students scattered all over the place. He knew Fade was going to be here and he wanted to apologize once and for all. She wasn't in the library and the only place he could think of was the garden.

True to his thought, she was sitting cross legged and her book on her laps no doubt she was reading for the next paper. Her gaze was fixed on the book and she twirled her pen around.

He sat down in her front and she looked up abruptly. She rolled her eyes when she saw that he was the one and she decided to ignore him again. He tried to hold her hand and she hit his hand away. She looked around and she wanted to stand up to go to another end but Demi held her hands tight.

"Fuck. Listen to me first and do whatever you want to do later. I came to your house but for reasons best known to you, you decided to air me. You didn't even leave your room. You blocked me everywhere and now I'm worried.
I swear she just kissed me without my knowledge, If i knew that was what she wanted to do, I would've turned my face.
I already clarified everything on my IG page but you won't even listen to me. Please now" He begged and she shook her head.

She cleared her throat before saying anything "Look we aren't dating and you have the right to kiss anyone you want to kiss. You're making me feel irritated by the way you're explaining things to me, like I'm a mad woman. We both have different lives and stop trying to mess with my head. I'm not even mad that you kissed senior Tutu, why should I be? Am i your girlfriend or do I have exclusive access to your lips because I'm confused now"

"I don't like how you're doing for real. Stop this thing now Fade. You know how I feel about you and you're making everything hard for me" He groaned and Fade wanted to laugh at the way he looked. He looked frustrated.

"How do you feel about me because I don't remember us having any conversation about this or I was sleep talking them" She asked again and he closed his eyes in frustration. Fade was enjoying herself with the way he was clenching and unclenching his hands in anger.

"Okay, Fade I like you, like I really like you. That's how I feel about you" He groaned and Fade burst into laughter before she could control herself. It was obvious he was someone who doesn't know how to explain how he feels about a person.

"Okay" She replied and he stared at her with wide eyes. He blinked his eyes unable to comprehend what's going on and Fade went back to reading her book.

"Wait, you're just going to say Okay?" He asked in bewilderment and Fade shrugged.
He muttered something under his breath about girls being confused and not knowing where they stand.

"Wo, I'm getting out of here. I don't like this place at all" He said before standing up and dusting imaginary dusts on hus trousers. Fade felt bad instantly and she wanted to reverse back the time. She pretended to be reading while she watched him leave her front.
She yelped when someone suddenly pulled her up from the back and she was placed on her feet.

"You thought I was going to leave you here? Nah baby, anywhere I go, my baby goes too" He chuckled and Fade used her biology textbook to hit him.

"Who's your baby?" She asked with a small smile on her lips and Demi shrugged.

"You now. The bible said take anything you want by force" He replied and Fade burst into laughter.

"Which bible, the same one we are reading?" She asked again and Demi nodded sheepishly making her laugh more.

"The last time I went to church maybe last year, I think the pastor said something about whatever a man wants he taketh by force or something like that shaa" He replied and Fade held her stomach I laughter. Demi stared at her as if she had two heads and she wouldn't stop laughing.

"Taketh by force kor, Take away ni" She replied after she finished laughing and Demi hugged her figure to his. Her laughter died in her throat and Demi hugged her tighter.

"I'm glad I'm making you laugh until uncontrollable" He whispered closely in her ears and she shivered at the intensity of his voice.

"Your hair is rough oh, let me escort you to the salon this weekend and we should probably go for a lunch date after even though a cinema sounds cooler" He said after a time and Fade tilted her head to look at him.
