Rukawa had wiped the sweats on his forehead as he looked at the scoreboard. He sighed, as he heard the continuous yells, cheers, and shouts of those who support Shohoku. Their team. But he didn't care at all. Their game against Sannoh happened, and they won because of Sakuragi. But he'll never admit it.

The black-haired prodigy looks at her way with his eyes bored and almost asleep, the exhaustion from this game gets him. As the team gathered on the center of the court, Rukawa drifted his way in your direction, shocking most of the audience He wants to be gentle but his crave for you has made him aggressive. Since last night, after all of it, Rukawa has finally changed his mind. And now both of you are dating. Who would have the thought?

"Hey, where are you going?" You blurted out as he walked past you, he stood there as he grabbed your wrist.

Ayako and Anzai-sensei were rather shocked about the rookie's action, but both of them immediately recovered realizing it's not that surprising after all. Mitsui, Akagi, and the other players who were still in the court could only let their sighs and chuckles out after seeing the rookie went on his way and grabbed you to get out of the gym.

As the two of you finally went outside, Rukawa stopped in front of, to hug you. It wasn't very shocking that he'll do that. You could only smile because of it. He even went outside to get a hug, he'll never show anyone how affectionate he is.

"You're sweaty." You let out a chuckle, caressing his lower back.

Rukawa let out a low grunt. "I'm so tired, don't complain anymore." He replied.

You couldn't even resist him that's why you just let him hug you. In fact, you didn't mind the sweat at all, Rukawa is not the type to do this all the time and you would never nag him about these affections. You want him to go on his merry way.

You nod your head. "Fine, make this hug quick so you can rest easy after this game, is that fine for you?"

The rookie hummed. "But I want to go somewhere, after this." He muttered under his breath, with his face still resting on your shoulder. "I don't know where though." He added, as he finally let you go. He leaned on the wall in front of both of you. You looked at him with exhaustion visible on his face.

"We should go somewhere relaxing then, I don't want you to be more tired. You've had enough for today, let's go back?"

Rukawa nodded as the two of you returned inside the gym, you only to be teased by Ayako and Rukawa to got a whack from the team. Akagi and Mitsui have thanked the rookie for bringing out his best in the game, with a lot of respect. He wouldn't deny it, but Rukawa has a huge future ahead because of basketball. After the game against Sannoh, the team will fight against Aiwa. With high hopes to get their first national tournament championship within the years.

"I couldn't thank the freshmen enough for making it this far for us." You heard the team captain, Akagi uttered beside you, while looking at the others who are still having fun celebrating the win.

"It's not just about them, Akagi-san. You were the one who leads all of them, all of the third-years were the ones who made team's foundation strong. And I'm sure they won't make it here if you guys are not here. Please save some credits for yourself," you smiled, tugging a strand of your hair behind your ear.

What you said has made the captain flustered, but secretly. When Mitsui was out for his troubles because of his gang, Akagi was the one who's assigned as the team captain of the team. And when he was there, he couldn't help but notice you too. For all those years, he acknowledges you as someone he admired. Even from afar.
